Never knew

New years here I come

I was shocked at what Rico said to me. I never expected for him to say that, he seems like the type of guy who checks girls out and leaves it at that but you can't judge a book by it's cover.

"Uhm, why is that?" I asked with genuine curiosity.
"You seem like an amazing girl but
you seem absentminded at times..." He told me an he was right.. Iam absent minded, mainly because I'm thinking about my ex boyfriend and how he broke my heart.
As he said this to me I looked away.

He turned my head to look at him.
A tear rolled down my cheek

Rico's POV

She looked away, did I say something wrong?, did I upset her? So many things were running the through my head.
I turned her head to look at me. And I saw a tear roll down her cheek.
I never meant to make her cry.

"What's wrong?" I asked her as I wiped the tear off her cheeknwith my thumb.
"Nothing," she replied looking away, "I don't want to talk about it."

I didn't force her to talk at this moment.. We stayed in good silence for a few minutes before she spoke

"He broke my heart." Was all Tamika said.
"Who?" I asked
"Riano." She replied

I didn't say anything but just hugged her.

Tamika's POV

"Who?" Rico asked me softly
"Riano." I replied him

He never said anything but pulled me towards him and he hugged me so tight, I didn't want him to let go.
I felt so safe and warm in his arms.

I pulled away. As I did he held my chin between his thumb and index finger, looked me in the eye and started to move closer to me.

He kissed me.

It was amazing... It was warm and it brought butterflies to my stomach.

We went to Vicky and the rest.
We had a few drinks and went to his room...
