Never knew

I woke up today feeling happy.. I got woken up by the smell of coffee. It was such an amazing smell. I made my way to the kitchen and found Vicky making us breakfast.

"Morning sunshine." Vicky greeted with a warm smile.
"Morning," I greeted with a smirk, "Why are you so happy today?" I asked, I was very curious.
"Because its a nice hot day and it's new years eve.. you should be happy too." She answered.
"Oh by the way it's new years eve.. so what are we doing tonight?

"We are going to a house party at Dario's house, and guess who will be there." She said with a wide smile one her face.
"Oh that sounds cool, let me see, Rico?" I said sarcastically.
"Yes, so it looks like no one will be alone tonight." She said laughing and left the kitchen.

"And go get ready, Marko is coming to pick us up in 2 hours and i know how long you take to get ready." Vicky shouted from the lounge.
"But it's so early Vic." I complained
"Look at the time Mika." She replied.

When I looked at my phone, it was 3 p.m, that left me wondering what time I woke up.

I went straight to the bathroom and got ready, and sure enough 2 hours later Marko was here to pick us up.

We drove for about and hour before we got to Dario's house.
We entered the house and Vicky and i went to the kitchen to find Tara taking out drinks from the fridge and taking them outside.. we helped her take the drinks and snacks out.

Vicky and Tara went to do their hair in the room while I was left alone in the kitchen. I decided to take one of the remaining drinks from the fridge and drink.
I went out to the porch when I heard someone walk in.
It was Rico. He was looking so damn gorgeous.
He was starring again, This time he smiled and started walking towards me. I started walking backwards when I came in contact with a wall. He laughed and I blushed.

"I'm not going to hurt you if that's what you think," He told me as if he could hear my thoughts, "I just want to get to know you."
