When I was young, I would listen to the radio

Clara ran a hand down the front of her body as she adjusted her clothing in the mirror. She'd searched for hours at the boutique Soon Ho had suggested for this outfit but she couldn't help but feel a little uncomfortable. She tugged gently on the hem of her tweed skirt. It feels just a bit short, but...

Korean business clothes were a little different than she was used to or expecting. They favored shorter skirts and high necklines rather than the more modest cuts of the clothing she'd brought from back home. Still, she told herself as she turned to the side, at least a nicely tailored blazer is always in fashion.

The skirt nipped in nicely at her waist and emphasized its thinness. The length of the blazer merely emphasized further. Underneath, she wore black turtleneck in a modest, tight weave. The waist of the skirt fell smoothly over it and the hem fell towards the middle of her thighs, if not a bit lower. She wore opaque black tights and a pair of matching pumps.

Shaking herself quickly, she turned to the bed and put on the grey pea coat she'd purchased yesterday. As she tied the belt around her waist, she walked over to the nightstand to check the time on her phone. 7:25. She was making good time.

Marin's email had laid out the schedule for today: Clara needed to be at YG Entertainment's Hongdae location by 8:00 in order to fill out additional hiring paperwork and go over her employment package. After a short break, she would be meeting with her employer by 10:00 AM KST. Hopefully, if she was placed with her potential employer and would be returning to the hotel to pack her bags. Her contract would be starting that Sunday.

She set an alarm for 7:30 and raced to the bathroom to unbraid her hair. Once all of her hair fell to her waist in deep waves from the braids, she parted her hair in a deep side part before gelling down the front of her hair. She put in a pair of small diamond studs and quickly applied concealer to her problem spots and bronzing the edges of her face. She hurriedly brushed her teeth then applied a gloss and perfume.

She snatched her phone from the nightstand, grabbed her black leather baguette bag, and swiftly exited the room.

As she stepped out of her hotel, she pulled up walking directions to YG Ent from her bag and set out. The walk wasn't nearly as long as she thought that it was and she very quickly found herself standing in front of the building. 7:48. She took a moment to marvel at the building with all its round edges. It was rather daunting: all cool gray and a round overhead above the entrance. Bleak almost. She shook herself, clenched her fist tight, and walked towards the entrance.

You've got this, Clara. Don't be frightened. Soon Ho said that he thinks they'll like you. Just be yourself. You still have a couple hours before you to meet your employer. Deep breaths.

There, nestled further in, was the main entrance. A guard watched from his booth and directed her to the pad just to the left of the door. Clara entered the code for Marin's office and announced herself. The guard shifted down to look at his computer before he nodded. Shortly after, Clara heard a click as the door was unlocked. The guard quickly exited his booth and gestured for her to follow him. They walked for a short while before entering some kind of waiting area with black leather couches.

Clara quickly took a seat. I guess I'll have to wait for Marin to come. She looked around the interior. I wouldn't have guessed that it looked this way from the inside. The walls were a deep black, but with such light and warm flooring and lights, it felt inviting. Decadent almost.

"Ms. Winslow?"

Clara snapped her head around to see that Marin-ssi had finally arrived. Quickly, she stood up and shook the hand she was offered.
