I opened the front door to Connor's house and walked straight into the bathroom. I started looking for the first aid kit that I knew his mom put in here. Nobody was home right now though, so I would have to find it myself.

"Jayden."

I turned around without saying anything and noticed Connor standing in the doorway staring right at me.

"It's under the sink. At the right." He said while walking into the bathroom.

I nodded and grabbed the white box with the bright red letters saying "First Aid". Connor had just been standing there watching me the entire time with a confused look on his face. Honestly, I'm not mad at him, I just feel bad for Annie and I'm not sure why Hayden changed.

"Come here. I have to clean it." I said as I grabbed his arm and pulled him towards me. He just watched as I starting wiping his lip of the blood.

"Are you mad at me?" He asked as I continued wiping his lip.

I shook my head and grabbed something else out of the first aid kit and continued to fix his lip.

"No. I'm just - I feel bad for Annie. And you could've gotten hurt." I said quietly.

"I'm fine, just a cut on my lip."

I nodded and looked up at him. We stared at each other for a few seconds and I quickly looked down at his lips. Why did I do that? I pulled away.

"Done." I said as I started packing up the first aid kit again and placing it under the sink.

"Thank you."

I just smiled and walked out of the bathroom. He followed me and checked the time on his phone.

"It's almost twelve, wanna stay over?" He asked as he opened the fridge and grabbed two sodas.

"Sure. What movie are we watching? Since you didn't let me finish the one we were supposed to watch tonight." I said sassily as I grabbed the soda from his hand.

He laughed and sat next to me as we picked what movie we were going to watch.

I woke up to the sound of very loud knocking on Connor's front door. I was laying on top of him on the couch as he has his arm wrapped around my waist. He was still asleep. I pushed myself off of his chest a little and looked down at him.

"Connor. Connor. Connor someone is here, wake up." I said as I pushed my hand on his chest repeatedly.

His eyes started opening and he smiled at me, not moving his hand or caring that I was completely on top of his still. I didn't want to move either.

"Why is someone knocking at the door?" I asked.

Connor groaned and then moved his hands to grab my waist and move me to the side. I looked up at him confused and he ran his hand through his hair while looking at me, then the door.

"Carson, I forgot he was coming over this morning. Sorry."

He sighed and slowly made his way over to the door, opening it. Carson is a friend of both of ours. He walked in and did the bro hug thing with Connor, not even noticing me laying on the couch, looking like a mess probably.

"Dude you look like you just got up. Were you up all night?" Carson said with a chuckle.

Connor closed the door and pointed over to me. Carson looked over and smiled as he came over to hug me. I rolled my eyes and stood up, hugging him and laughing a little. Carson let go and looked over at Connor.

"You forgot I was coming because you stayed up with Jayden." Carson accused with a smirk on his face. Connor nodded and gave him a smile before pointing to his bedroom door.

"Jayden, you can go get dressed and stuff if you want." Connor said. I have a bunch of my stuff over here and he has the same at my house for whenever we stay over. Which is often.

"Yeah. What are you two doing today?" I said as I started heading for Connor's room.

"We're having some guys over to watch the game. Are you staying?" Carson asked.

I shrugged and looked at Connor.

"It's the guys. And Connor doesn't like me being here when they're here so...Connor?" I said waiting for his answer which I already knew what it was.

"Nope. She won't be here for the game." Connor said as he smiled at me then Carson.

Carson laughed, knowing how Connor is protective and everything.

"Yeah but come on. It's gonna be a good one. I think you should stay." Carson said looking over at me. I smiled. At least Carson wouldn't mind me being here.

"Yeah I think I will." I said while glancing at Connor. He rolled his eyes.

"Jayden we talked about-"

I went right into his room and started to get dressed.
