"Where are we going Hoody?" I ask we walk through the trees. Hoody stays silent and continues walking. I run to his side and grab his wrist. He stops walking and turns his head towards me. "Please tell me where we're going. I just want to know." I plead with begging in my tone.
"You're quite persistent. Just the way you were when you were a child." Hoody sighs and looks into the trees. "Brier, do you honestly trust me?" He looks back at me.
"I'm pretty sure. I've only known you since I was alive." I state in a well-duh tone. Hoody surprises me by grabbing my hand and pulling me closer to him.
"I mean seriously trust. Like you know I'd never lie to you in my existence. Ever."
"Well, I think. Maybe."
"If you do then you'd believe me when I tell you that Westley isn't for you. He's not, Brier. You don't deserve someone who will have women all over him when you both are married. He's the type that will cheat." Hoody holds my hand a bit tighter. "You deserve someone who will protect you no matter what. Someone who will love you and only you. Someone who won't leave you." I look at the ground and the brown leaves littering the forest floor.
"I guess you're right." I mutter quietly. I look back up to Hoody. "I need to wait for this," I let go of Hoody's hand and start walking away from him. "I'm going to be back later. Just tell mom and dad I'll be back later." I tell Hoody. He nods and I continue walking. I take put my cell phone and dial the number that I'll be dialing for the last time.
"Hello?" The voice answers.
"Hey Westley. We need to talk."
__
"What are you saying, Brier? I thought you said you loved me." Westley's eyes plead to me.
"I do, Wes. I'm just not ready for this. Love. I'm only fifteen. Maybe if you're still in town and we're older we can start again." Westley looks down at the ground.
"Promise? My whole life I was wanting to spend my every second with you. I just hope that plan still stays." I smile and nod. Westley kisses my cheek and we hug. He prolongs the hug before letting go. We separate and I return back home.
I'm ready to go through high school. Let's begin day one of no more boyfriends. Let's go.
__
(A/N- You know how I said no more large time skips? Well, I lied. I thought that Brier needed to age some more before understanding what love really is. Thanks and you may continue.)
Three Years Later
"Brier?" My mother's voice calls into my bedroom. She appears in my doorway and smiles big. I smile back at her. She walks over to me and wipes some lip gloss off of the side of my mouth. "You're so beautiful, Brier."
"So are you." We both laugh and smile at each other.
"Eighteen already. Wow Bri. It seems like yesterday you were five and running around." Tears well up into her eyes.
"Oh stop it. We both know that I'll be staying eighteen forever. We'll be forever young. Me and my best friend." She laughs again and pulls me into a hug.
Ever since she got that internship she has been home a lot. We were able to build the strongest friendship.
"I know that. Are you sure about this? Immortality? What are you going to do about your future husband and children? They'll grow older and you won't." Concern fills her deep brown eyes. I smile and shake my head at her.
"My family is here. Love isn't for me. I want to stay with my only family. You, dad, and the boys." Mom's expression turns into surprise.
"But Brier, you've wanted love since you were a girl. What changed that?"
"When I was fifteen and broke up with Westley. From then on love wasn't my thing. Especially when he found his soul mate." My expression falls. Mom hugs me again.
"It's okay, Bri. You'll find Mr. Right. Just wait and see." She reassures me. The sound of someone clearing their throat makes both of us let go from the hug. Dad stands in the doorway, smiling at us.
"Ready to go, Bri? The boys are." I nod and we all walk out, along with Noah and Jacob. We all walk inside of the mansion, greeting the others. Slenderman walks into the room. He also is greeted warmly, even though feelings aren't really his thing.
"Are you three ready to be granted immortality?" The three of us nod in unison, which freaks me out slightly. "Okay then," Slenderman tells us some stuff and begins with the 'process' or whatever. Everything goes by in a blur it seems. One moment we're all standing in the large room and the next I'm laying in bed. I look at my alarm clock. 12:39 A.M.
I stand up and walk into the living room. Jacob sits on the couch and stares at the clock on the wall.
"Hey." I whisper to him. He jumps slightly and smiles at me. I sit next to him on the couch and look at the clock.
"Don't you feel...different?" He finally says after a while. "Like time has..." His voice fades.
"Stopped? Yea. However the clock still moves. Time still goes on." He nods and we both continue to stare at the ticking clock.
"Brier," I look at him. "Have you ever thought about...killing?" He seems to grow quieter when he says the last word.
"No not really. It's not what I want for my future." I look at Jacob, who's already looking at me. Him and Noah both are like this. Confused about this subject.
"Do you think it's okay to do it? Like, it's kind if what I want to do in my future. Our whole family is run on that. Killing for fun." I nod.
"It's not really that's it's okay, it's just something you can't handle. I wouldn't love you or Noah any less if that was what your decision is." He nods and looks at the ground.
"It's just, I've been best friends with these people since I was born. It's not really my fault."
"No Jake, it isn't. If you do that I'm pretty sure dad will be proud. It's probably the future he wants for us three. Success. Being a conqueror of sorts. All you have to do is not get caught. That's the toughest part." We both laugh quietly and fall silent once more.
"I should go to bed. I suggest you do the same." Jacob says after a while. I nod and watch as he walks off into his bedroom. I sigh and lay back on the couch. Thoughts run wildly throughout my mind. My future being the main thought. After a while of these thoughts, I fall asleep. I'm quickly greeted by darkness.

IMPORTANT
Hey, sorry about the long wait for the next chapter. I feel ashamed.
I want to thank ALL of my lovely readers. You guys are seriously awesome. Darkly Romantic has gotten 1.3k reads already. :D That's the most reads I've EVER had. So I just love all of you. You're all my best friends ^-^
Side note , so some of you may have noticed that I say Brier will look into Hoody's eyes. And you'll notice that in most pictures he doesn't have eyes. However, I'm taking the Marble Hornets version of Hoody. Also, I've heard Hoody has a stutter or something like that. I did not realize this fact totally until I wrote most of these chapters. Therefore, Hoody will have no stutter. I'm terribly sorry if this upsets anybody.
Thanks for reading my lovelies!
