i️ hate how heartbreak gets romanticized.
heartbreak fucking sucks, i️t isn’t just watching the notebook and eating i️ce cream, it’s feeling your heart ache and clench because you gave i️t to someone on a silver platter to take care of and they basically looked at i️t and threw i️t over their shoulder saying, "nah bitch" and walked away.
it’s feeling yourself falling apart at the seams because you were so vulnerable to someone. it’s the unrequited love that hurts that they don’t tell you.
being so in love with someone and them not even knowing. it’s 3 am on your bathroom floor and you’re crying your eyes and heart out because you know you shouldn’t be in love with them but you are.
it’s like losing your home, they were your home, and they left, and now you have nowhere to go. it’s hearing a song on the radio that you used to love but now you can’t stand because of them.
it’s not watching tv shows or movies anymore because you watched them together. it’s throwing away that t-shirt because they loved i️t.
it’s not just the notebook and ice cream, it’s tears, ugly tears, it’s agonizing pain, and i️ hate how i️t gets romanticized.
