Chapter 5

Niklaus spun around glaring daggers at me. He stalked up to me grabbing my arms tightly, making me whimper from the pain and slightly because he's scaring the shit out of me right now. "What the hell were you doing with Phoenix!?" He spat in my face spitting his name out with disgust. I tried yanking myself free from his grip but he just tightened his hold. Standing tall and looked him straight in the eyes, I'm not one to let someone treat me this way and defiantly not while I've been drinking! " Let. Me. Go. Now!" I said firmly yanking one more time and finally freeing myself, stepping away from Nik, Eli and Luka. "We're sorry Princess, we don't mean to scare you. It's just Phoenix isn't someone you should be around. He's nothing but trouble, We were just looking out for you. We don't want to see you get hurt." Elijah spoke warmly towards me. "I don't even know him." I said still trying to make since of what was going on. "So you just dance on and almost kiss someone you don't know!" Niklaus shouted clearly still angry. He took a step towards me but Luka grabbed his arm and kept him back. I didn't say anything I couldn't, I don't know what happened to me but I would have let him do whatever he wanted at that time and that is just not me. I took a deep breath and exhaled "I need a cigarette." I said looking at Luka with pleading eye's. He reached into his pocket pulling out his pack of smokes. He took three out tossing two at the others and keeping one for himself then handed me the pack. I pulled one out putting it to my lips. I pulled my lighter out from my bra and light my cigarette as the boys did the same, taking a hit and letting the nicotine relax us. I looked up at the boys asking "So who is Phoenix and why do you guys hate him so much?" "Just forget him baby girl, he wont be bothering you anymore just drop it." Luka spoke up before disappearing into the crowed. okay that wasn't weird and ominous at all! Finishing my cigarette I tell the others I'm going to get a drink, it's best if I just drop it they clearly don't wanna talk about it. I wont ever see that guy again anyways. Even though I still cant get him out of my head. I made it to the basement, walking over to the corner table grabbing a shot glass of whatever and downing it. I take 3 more shots. After the fourth my head is swimming I turn to walk back up stairs to find Ever I stumble and fall a couple times but make it back to the living room the lights are flashing making me feel a bit dizzy. I turn to walk out but I'm so far gone I trip over my own feet the next thing I notice is the ground coming at my face super fast. I'm yanked back by my arm and held against someone. "Here we go again" I say slurring my words. The person turns me around to face them and I notice that it was just Niklaus. "Whoa there pumpkin your pretty wasted." He says chuckling slightly. All I can think about is finding Ever, I push away from him mumbling something about looking for Ever. I can't walk at all clearly I have drank to much I fall to my knees the minute I take a step. "Up you go" Nik says as he wraps his arms around my waist picking me up bridal style I lazily wrap my arms around his neck laying my head on his shoulders it suddenly became hard to keep my eyes open, he makes his way to the stairs and proceeds to walk up, We by pass people making out in the halls till we get to his room he pulls out a key and unlocks it. He walks in kicking the door shut after, I'm barely awake at this point I feel myself being lowered onto a bed and my shoes being taken off I slowly flutter my eyes open as covers are being pulled up. "I got to find Ever." I say but I'm so tired I cant even move. "Shh just sleep I'll text her and tell her your passed out in here with me it'll be ok." He whispers my eyes close. I hear shuffling the sound of the door lock clicking before the bed beside me dips and I'm pulled into his chest I'm out cold the minute he wraps his arms around me.
