Who can you trust?

Chapter 6

I’m scared. Why is it so dark? Where the fuck am I? I hear whispers but I cant understand what they are saying. My hearts beating so quick I can feel the cold sweat on my forehead. I turn and look around but It’s so dark I cant see anything, I hold out my hands and shuffle my feet so I don’t fall. I try and find a door but all I touch is air. My hearts pounding in my ears so loud they might explode. “Copeland!” my name was yelled. I jumped spinning around trying to find who called my name but no one was there. “H-Hello? Who’s there? Please help me!” I shouted at the voice desperate. An evil cackle erupted surrounding me. I ran no longer caring if I fall not knowing where I was going I wanted to get away from that voice! “STOP!” Someone shouted right into my ears it was menacing sounding. Covering my ears I fall to the floor, tears cascading down my face. The laughter was surrounding me again. I can no longer breathe im gasping for air I feel like i'm being suffocated. I open my eyes and I’m shocked to see a pair of dark gray eyes staring at me. I can see a figure standing a few feet away staring at me. I reach out my hand pleading with them to help me. “please save me!” I choked out trying to yell over the laughter. After the words left my mouth it was quiet no more laughter no whispers only silence. I was no longer suffocating my lungs filled with air. The figure stood there looking down at me all I could make out was the outline of there body. They had broad shoulders like a guy and stood a good foot taller then me. Those eyes, I swear I’ve seen those eyes before I don’t know where. I stood up and took a step towards the person. “Hello? Can you tell me where I am please?” He didn’t say anything only looked at me, He turned away from me and started to recede into the darkness. “Hey! Wait please don’t leave me alone!” I cried out. I ran after him but I could no longer see him it was dead silent besides from my sobbing cry’s. “Copeland.” My name rang out but this time as a sweet sounding whisper from the distance. I ran in the direction I tripped a few times but I kept going to scared to stop. I came to this big red door. Staring at it I debated if I should go in till I heard my name called from inside. I reached for the handle and pushed it open I came face to face with those gray eyes again. A hand came out of the doorway reaching for me. I hesitated but took it he pulled me in and the door slammed shut behind us. He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me into him I couldn’t do anything but stare into those eyes I became lost. I don't know why but I felt safe. “Stay with me.” he spoke it was honey to my ears. “Come with me, be with me forever.” He purred into my ear making me shiver I was falling I didn't wanna be away from him ever. “ok” I said it was the only thing that would come out. After I spoke he released me causing me to fall to the ground hard. His eyes went from gray to violet before returning he smiled at me his eyes and teeth where the only thing I could see. His teeth were sharp pointed like knives. He opened his mouth and started laughing the same evil cackle from before. Terrified I scrambled to my feet and tried running back to the door but it was gone. I'm tackled to the ground. He leaned over me and pinned me down his teeth grazed my neck. I struggled to get up hitting him and kicking but nothing budged him. “Your mine” his words rang out in my head oozing with malice. He sank his teeth into my neck I thrashed around screaming before I blacked out.
