"I can't take this anymore!" He screamed as he walked out the door. The tears were rolling down my face as I ran after him. I pushed the screen door open and ran down the steps. I grabbed the back of his arm to stop him from going any further towards his truck. He turned around so fast that I didn't see his hand racing to hit my cheek. I felt the impact to my cheek and that's when the tears stopped. I took a step back. He looked shocked by his action. He tried to take a step towards me so he could reach me but I took another step back.

"Don't touch me." I said slowly and softly. He tried to reach for me again but I screamed,"Don't touch me!" His hurt-looked eyes burned into mine. The tears were racing down his cheeks. He pulled his hand back but the shaking couldn't go unnoticed.

"I didn't mean to. I'm so sorry that I hurt you. I never meant to hurt you." He said as he looked down at the hand that had came in touch with my cheek. He took a step back then another one. He was shaking his head and was muttering something that I couldn't understand. He reached his truck but didn't get in. He held the handle and I just stood there watching him.

"I'm sorry. I never meant for any of this to happen. I'll leave. Not just for tonight, but forever. I love you but I can't stay knowing that I had physically hurt the only person that I love. Possibly the only person that has loved me. I'm not so sure that you still love me but I want you to never forget that I love you." He took one last glance towards me and went inside his truck and left. I went inside and that's when it hit me that he left me forever. I went to bedroom and fell on the mattress. I cried all night that night.

I woke up the next morning because I had to use the bathroom. I turned the tv on the news channel and started the coffee machine. After I was done with using the bathroom I went and sat on the couch to watch the news.

"Now broadcasting a terrible accident from last night. A male at the age of 24 had driven into the oncoming traffic and was killed." I felt terrible about this. I went into the kitchen to get my cup of coffee and then came back to the living room. I flipped a few channels but nothing was on so I went back to the news. They kept talking about how tragic this accident was and it didn't hit me hard until it showed the picture of the man who was killed in the accident
