Asking A Favor

I was sitting on my couch reading the newest edition of the Rolling Stone, when the phone rang obnoxiously. I sighed and got up quickly not necessarily itching to answer the damn thing.

As I picked up the phone I heard an easily recognizable voice,"Umm... Hey Olivia,  I need to ask a huge favor of you."

"Tommy? What the hell happened this time?" I asked curiously into the phone.

"I'd honestly prefer not to talk about it right now, but if you could pick me up, that would be great," He said obviously upset about something.

"Well, it would be pretty damn helpful if I knew where you were," I stated into the receiver. Did he really think I'd be able to read his damn mind?

"Oh yeah, that would probably be kinda helpful now that you mention it," He responded.

"Yeah, it probably would be," I said slightly irritated.

"I'm by my apartment building. Now hurry before I freeze out here!" He said just a little bit louder than I would have liked.

I pulled up beside Tommy's apartment building, and as I expected, there stood a shivering Tommy.

"Hey Olivia!" Tommy exclaimed throwing his luggage into the trunk and climbing into the passenger seat.

"Hey Lee. What's all that stuff for?" I questioned motioning toward the trunk with my thumb.

"Oh, about that... My favor is that I was kinda hoping I could stay at your place?" Tommy requested with hopeful eyes.

"Well how could I say no to you? Just don't leave fur balls the size a basketball lying around," I said fluffing his hair slightly.

"Thanks man, I owe you," He thanked me.

"No problem, but what brought this about?" I asked curiously.

"My landlord told me to keep it quiet, so I may have asked him if he 'Had to be a huge dick to compensate for his small one,'" Tommy said bowing his head slightly.

"As much as I wish I could have been there, I know I would have made the situation fifty times worse than you did by yourself," I stated truthfully.

"Yeah, knowing you, you would have used every insult known to man and then some," Tommy replied knowingly.

"Yeah..." I mumbled. With that I started the car and drove off to my place.

To celebrate my new roommate I brought out my not-so special stash of coke and achohol. Tommy promptly opened the bag with coke in it and pulled a dollar out of his pocket. I divided it into lines and took the bill from his hand rolling it up. I quickly snorted the first line earning grunt of complaint from Tommy.

"Your turn," I said handing him the bill. Tommy and I ended up drunk and high as a damn kite and the night was nowhere near over.

"That's it, we're playing truth or dare now!" Tommy exclaimed from beside me on the couch.

"Fuck you man!" I shouted in dissatisfaction.

"Any time, babe," Tommy said winking at me.

"Aww hell no," I retorted slurring my words slightly.

We were quite a few questions in and nothing too bad had happened.

"Truth or dare?" Tommy slurred.

"DARE!" I shouted leaning on him slightly.

"You sure, Olivia?" Tommy asked smirking.

"Fuck yeah!" I yelled in response.

"Strip," Tommy said almost looking serious.

"Hell no!" I shouted. Even though I was not only drunk but high, I was not in the mood for his bullshit.

"You know what to do then," Tommy said handing me a freshly opened bottle of Jack.

"Yeah, yeah," I sighed grabbing the bottle and drinking half of it. The night went on like this for a while until both of us collapsed where we were.

I'm too lazy to make this bold so you're just gonna have to deal with it, but hey guys! This is my first story but I'm not gonna ask for mercy because god knows I'm probably not gonna get it. I know what you're thinking, 'Wow, one chapter in and we're already drunk and high.' There's no better way to get a taste of my writing I guess. Well, I hope you guys enjoyed the first chapter.
