I woke up a day after Erin. A few months had gone by and I was finally back at work. It felt good sitting at my desk again. We welcome two more people to our team. I shuck hands with them and then I went to Frederick office so we could talk.

Frederick: Are you feeling okay

Shaniya: I'm fine but we need to talk about a few months ago and you know the chief you been avoiding this conversation for too long

Frederick: And you thought this was the best time to have it

Shaniya: I'm sorry I didn't tell you about my past

Frederick: I thought we told each other everything

Shaniya: We do but it's not easy to come out and say hey I used to be prostitute and my sister is locked for drug possession and I lied on my exam in the academy and that I have a record

Frederick: You should have told me anyways I wouldn't have judged you, I don't care about anything you did before I just care about the fact we been together for almost three years and held a piece of your life away from me

Shaniya: You are right I should have told you I just didn't know how or what to say, I made reservations for us tonight at the Marriott restaurant and I promise whatever questions you got i will answer it honestly

Frederick: I love you

Shaniya: I love you too

We shared a little kiss then I left his office and went to my desk. The chief was calling me but I rejected his called then put him on the block list. Me and him got nothing to talk about. As the day went by and I was still at my desk going over cases then the chief came in. He said he been calling and I called Frederick from his office. He gave me a glare then went in his office. A few minutes later he came out angrier than ever. After our shift ended we went out to dinner then we went home. I got undressed and changed into a big t-shirt. I then crawled in bed next to him. I feel so safe when I'm around him. He kissed the top of my head and told me that the chief won't be bothering me no more. We began to kiss and just as things were getting hot we got a call from Brian. He was going crazy because someone broke into his house and kidnapped his wife.
