Preface
Awhile back, I thought that everything would be fine. I thought that if I wished hard enough, everything would sort itself out. Now, facing the Elder Council, I knew different. I knew the end was near. I could feel it, feel it in my very bones. I anticipated an assault from the guards stationed around me. I tensed, readying myself. I recognized the energy, building up, the telltale sign of an attack.
And then it happened. I was struck to the ground and pandemonium erupted around me. And I saw possibly the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. That's when everything blacked out, and I knew no more.
