Alola, Pokémon

Shu's POV:

"Kukui? Isn't that a tree?" Wakiya asked stupidly. I facepalmed. 'Really, Wakiya? Really?' I thought.

"Hehe, yea," Kukui said sheepishly slumping down.

"Ignore him. He's an idiot. So you're the Alola Pokémon professor?" I asked.

"Yep! And I'm here to give you lucky eight your first ever Pokémon!" he exclaimed.

"Sweat!" Honcho exclaimed. Valt just kinda stared plainly at him. His eyes were a little dull now. Like there was no emotion in the Valtryek blader anymore.

"If you all would follow me, I can take you to my lab, and you can get your new partner!" Kukui exclaimed walking away from us.

"Well, let's not stand here! Let's go get a Pokémon!" Lui exclaimed. We smiled, except Valt, and nodded.

We all followed the professor. He lead us through some grass and down some slopes. He said it was avoid wild Pokémon, since we didn't have one yet.

"And here is my house and lab!" Kukui exclaimed pointing to the worn down building. We all looked at it in surprise. No one expected it to be so... broken down.

There were holes in the roof and in the wood. It didn't look stable at all. We all glanced at each other and back to the building. Kukui looked at us in concern, because we were all frowning and some looked a little scared.

"Sorry, we just didn't expect it to be so... destroyed," Zac said tilting his head. "It got to close to the sun~" Zac sang striking a pose. We all looked over our shoulders and sweat dropped.

Kukui sighed and went inside. The rest of us followed in behind after we all had a turn smacking Zac. He was still rubbing his head in pain inside. Least to say, we were all very surprised. It was a lot nicer inside.

It wasn't as worn down. There were no holes that littered the place. Nice furniture and some little decorations around the place.

"Professor Kukui! You're back already?" a voice asked. A boy, that looked around our age, came in with a Pikachu and a floating gadget behind him.

"Ah! Ash! Yes, they were a little early, so we just came on over. This is Ash. He is from the Kanto region. He's aiming to be number 1," Kukui said.

"My name's Rantaro, but everyone calls me Honcho."

"I'm Ken, it's nice to meet you!"

"Name's Daigo."

"I, am Zac the Sunrise~"

"Lui, number 1 balder!"

"Well, I'm Wakiya, and I'm going to be the top here!"

"Shu."

"Hey, I'm Valt."

We all introduced ourselves. Kukui nodded and Ash smiled.

"I'm Ash. This is my partner Pikachu and Rotomdex, but we just call him Rotom. So you all get your first Pokémon today?" Ash asked us. We all nodded.

  "Yep! And here are the Pokémon you can choose from now," Kukui said coming back with eight different Pokémon. "Three of you all will get a Rotomdex, what Ash has. The other five will have a regular Pokédex. Now, how about... Valt! You go first!"

  Valt jumped a little, but nodded. Kukui handed Valt a Pokédex so he could scan each Pokémon. We all listened so we wouldn't here it so much.

  "Shinx, the Flash Pokémon. The extension and contraction of its muscles generate electricity. It glows when in trouble."
