"Hi..." You said in a small voice, it was the first time you had spoken to him in months.

"Hey." His voice was comforting, low and raspy. To this day he still gave you a warm feeling inside, dispite everything.

"I don't know what to say," You had planned this conversation for days, and yet were still lost for words, "sorry."

"It's not your fault, it's...it's his." He didn't look up at you, he was stressed, the bags under his eyes told you that he wasn't sleeping enough.

"He didn't do anything wrong," you knew he did, but refused to believe it.

"You don't understand..." he trailed off.

Your POV

"Lastly I would like to thank one of my fellow cast mates, Jack Dylan Grazer, without whom I would never of gotten this part" you said, tears forming in your eyes.

Dreams weren't something that had often come true, but this one had. Best Supporting Actress. That sounded good in your head, and even better when they called your name to com on stage. Jacks eyes met yours as you walked off stage, as he gave you a standing ovation. Butterflies formed in your stomach. Jogging slowly over to him, you hugged each other, and sat down next to him with a huff.

After the awards had finished, almost everyone went to the afterparty. As you walked into the lush house, a couple of people patted you on the back or gave you a hug. But one was unexpected.

"Great job out their, y/n." Finn Wolfhard said with a smirk and giving you a hug.

"Thankyou so much!" You kissed his cheek and hugged him back, as you do for most, but this time was different, his skin turned a bright red and eyes trailed off as he smirked.

Jack walked over to the two of you with a skip in his step.

"I never would've done it without the help from this guy." You said, a smile plastered over your face, and finger guns pointed at Jack.

Jack was your best friend, you'd basically lived together for the past year and known each other many years before.

"So Finn," you looked into his eyes, "how is the new season coming along?" You tried to make small talk.

"Its been good, I guess, stressful considering the new project I'm working on with the band, but good." He smiled and laughed as the awkward silence started to set in. His curly hair fluffed up as he put his hand through it, his so cute you thought.

"Shit, sorry guys I've gotta run, didn't see the time," Jack said in a rush, "mum is taking me out for dinner." You hugged him and were immediately overcome by his warmth.

"Bye kiddo," he pointed out he was older than you, a common occurrence in the friendship. Your eyes met but he broke the connection as he left. You can't ruin this friendship, you thought to yourself as you watched Jack leave. You turned to Finn who was standing their awkwardly drinking his punch. The two of you had a lot of funky punch that night, at least thought it was just punch, you assumed Jack forgot to mention that it had some alcoholic properties to it.
