Danielle

Lonzo and I make our way around the locker room and I talk to each player for a little bit.

Even though seeing half naked men wasn't on my agenda, I sure did see them.

We finally make our way to the last row of the locker room. There is only three guys there.

Jordan is standing there talking to two other guys.

I know they are both rookies like Lonzo.

Josh Hart and Kuzma, Kyle Kuzma.

They all glance up at me as I walk towards them.

"God Damn!" I hear Josh say.

Kyle hits Josh on his arm. "Quit, that's Lonzo's cousin!"

I giggle to myself and Kyle smiles at me.

Once I see Danielle my heart starts to race.

She is even more beautiful in person.

Her smile, her laugh, it makes me want to smile too!

I don't mean to continue staring at her.

"If yall niggas don't fix your faces, you act like you've seen a ghost." Lonzo says. "Stop lookin at my cousin like that!"

This makes Danielle laugh again.

"I'm Kyle" I introduce myself.

I extend my arm out so Danielle could shake my hand. She does.

"I'm Danielle, but you can call me Danni if you want!"

She turns her attention to Josh.

Josh smiles at her and she smiles back.

They stand there smiling at each other, not saying a single word.

What the hell is going on here? I think to myself.

Lonzo clears his throat. "Yall juat gone stand there?" Lonzo says because no one was speaking. 

"Joshy!" Danielle laughs.

"Stop!" Josh throws his head back and groans.

I look at Josh and he looks at me. I smile at him and he does the same.

"Joshy" I finally say.

"Stop" Josh groans.

I laugh.

I met Josh when Lonzo came to my sisters house one day before practice, I told Josh I would always call him Joshy cause he would get annoyed and it's funny to me.
