After that Shawn looked at me and asked me "so are you ready to see where i we're hanging out all day?", "I guess but it better be worth it cause it was a very long drive" I said, he laughed then told me to wait and not to get out of the car so i did then he got out and walked towards my door and open it for it might have been a simple gesture but it was really sweet and I couldn't help but blush. Only then did I realize that we were at a Zoo "Oh my god I can believe you actually brought me to a Zoo!!! I'm so happyy rightt noww i mean what's better than seeing exotic animals and cuddly zoo creatures", "well im glad you like it i was actually worried about that, so this is what we're going to do today we are going to go grab a bite cause you just got out of school and I'm sure you're starving, then we are going to walk around the zoo to check out the animals and at 6:30 I actually booked us an area where you'll actually get to pet some animals and feed them, so let's get going because we have a long day ahead of us" I nodded and followed him while we were making our way into the zoo I still couldn't believe that he actually gave so much thought into what we're going to do today.
10 minutes later we were seated in a small restaurant at the zoo the restaurant itself was really cute and cozy. The waiter later came and took out orders I ordered a Swiss mushroom burger with fries and coke while Shawn ordered a cheeseburger with fries and sprite. As we waited for our meals we talked about random stuff like our favorite colors like mine is sky blue and Shawn doesn't really have one it changes every day, and about our favorite animals mine is a tiger and Shawn's is puppies and he told me he actually owed a puppy called Leo (ps: yes I know Shawn is extremely allergic to dogs in really life but not in my book).
When the food got here we ate peace the when we were done we were arguing about who is going to pay the bill "No Shawn I'm not letting you pay for this meal especially not mine, not after you booked us this amazing day" I argued, "And I'm not letting you pay for it because you did have to come with me so let me be a gentleman and pay for our meals",
"Finee but next time the meal's on me"I said,"yeah whatever sunshine" he said while roiling his eyes. After we payed or more specifically after Shawn payed we headed out of the restaurant and started walking around the zoo. We saw a lot of really cool animals like a flamingo that Shawn tried to imitate, a lion, penguins, monkeys and my all time favorite the tigers when we got to the tigers I made Shawn take a couple of pictures with me next to them, and then Shawn and i took a couple of pictures together, and before we knew it it was 6:25 and we didn't want to be late to so we headed to the petting area there a guy that looked about 3 years or so older than me was waiting for us we greeted us and introduced himself as Kyle, he lead us inside and then told us to sit of the floor while he went and got some of the animals, a few minutes later Kyle walked in with a baby tiger and a baby lion and handed them to me this point I was freaking out, and I think Shawn has noticed cause he was grinning and there was a twinkle in his beautiful eyes "stop grinning like an idiot and come play with us" I said, " look who's taking you haven't stopped smiling since Kyle got the animals in there if you smile a little harder you'll look like the joker", I didn't argue him much after that because I knew it was true so for the next hour or so Shawn and I played with the babies and feed them and took a couple of pictures with them. And when it was finally time to go I was actually a little bit sad and I'm guessing Shawn felt that so he told me "hey look at me I'll bring you here whenever you want all you have to do is ask okay?"I looked at him the moved closer and hugged him I think he was confused at first but he ended up hugging me back "okay and thank you for today I had a lot of fun" I answered him. We made our way to the car and this time it was less awkward we were actually talking and Shawn was making fun of my reaction when I first saw the baby tiger. When we got close to town he asked me where I lived so that he could dropped me off and when I told him he actually seemed surprised "that why you look so familiar you're the family that moved right across from our house a few months ago"
He said " wait if you live right next door how come I've never seen you before?"I asked "well since you go to school that means you leave early in the morning wayy before I wake up and I just came back to Canada like a month ago because I was on tour with the guys" he explained "oh that makes sense! Wait so does that mean that I'm going to get to see you every day?"I asked, "yeah I guess, if want I can come and pick you up after school everyday" he suggested "yeah why not but only if that doesn't bother you", " and before I knew it we were parked outside of Shawn's house which was right in front of mine, then we both got out of the car, I said goodbye to Shawn then headed home as soon as I got into the house my mom attacked my with questions like where I was? And who was i with? And what did we do? So I answered all he questions because me and my mom are really close and I tell her everything right after I told her that Shawn is our neighbor she suggested that I ask him and his family over for dinner on Thursday I agreed and told her that I'll ask him tomorrow, when he picks me up from school after talking to my mom i when to my room took a shower then went to bed.
