The Girl He Got // CH

Calum Hood

       They walked into the diner and took a seat at an empty booth in the back corner. There wasn't that many people there so it was kind of quiet. "So I'm guessing you know why you're here?" Calum asked her. Right before she could answer a waiter came over. "What would the lovely couple like to drink tonight?" He asked. "oh u-uh we're not-" before she could answer Calum cut her off "Two sweet teas will be fine" "Okay i will be right back with your drinks then i can take your order." He walked away with a little pep in his step. "I barely know you, now all of a sudden we are a couple? Why the fuck did they kill my dad? What did he do so wrong that you guys had to take me and hurt him?" Paige started to yell a little bit. Calum, thrown off, said "What do you mean 'Killed your dad'? They were only supposed to take you, nothing else. Which one was it?" Paige looked at him weird for a moment and quietly said "M-Michael did" "Of course he did. Typical Michael. Always doing what he wants." Paige just glanced back at her menu as Calum did the same.

        They figured out what they wanted and got their food. As they were eating, the door rang signalling somebody had come in. Calum had looked up and his eyes got wide. He quickly grabbed Paige's arm and pulled her into the bathroom, locking the door. "What the hell is going on?" She asked him. "Do you have your phone?" He asked. He seemed a bit off. "Y-yea. Anyways answer my question." She said while handing her phone to him. He ignored her and quickly started typing a number. "Michael, yea it's Calum. She's right here with me but you and the guys need to get here now. Liam, Louis, and Niall are here. Take them out." Calum hung up and threw the phone back at her "We need to find a way to get out." He said. "I've never been here before so i don't know" Paige said. "We will have to wait until the guys get here then. Anyways to answer your question, we will talk about it later. It looks like we won't be able to make it to the movies." Calum said with a hint of disappointment in his voice.

        They both sat in silence. Paige sat on the sink thinking about Calum. She had heard about him on the news and through social media. Everything she heard wasn't good. It was always about how they had found ties back to Calum's gang to different robberies, drug deals, and even murders. People said how he was dangerous and to never be near him. But, for the twenty to thirty minutes she was with him, he didn't act like any of those things. He was quite funny and had an amazing personality.

       About 10 minutes after Calum made the phone call, there were multiple loud bangs. Following those loud bangs, 5 knocks came from the bathroom door and the sound of Luke's voice saying, "Calum....we got em." Calum and Paige both quickly made there way out of the bathroom only to see blood everywhere. In the middle of the room laid 3 guys that Paige had never seen before. Calum quickly pulled her by her arm and pushed her into the car she came in. He went to the other side and slid to the middle right by her. Seconds later, she saw Michael, Luke, and Ashton come out and run to the car. Michael got into the driver's side, Ashton sat in the passenger side, and Luke went in the back and sat beside Calum. Moments after Michael started the car, the group heard loud sirens, which meant that they were close. "GO! GO! GO!" the group of boys started to scream to Michael. He quickly sped off into and unknown direction. Paige felt her heart beating through her chest. She quickly grabbed Calum's hand without even realizing. He just glanced at her then looked back out the window with a small smirk on his face.

        "We have to get out of here." Luke said a little louder than normal. "We can go home, grab  clothes and the other three, then go to the 'hideout'?" Ashton suggested. "Let's do that." Calum agreed. Minutes later they were pulling into the driveway of their "home".
