Calum grabbed her hand and pulled her to the car. She hopped into the passenger seat without saying a word as Calum slammed her door shut. She threw he seat belt on and looked out the window. She wanted nothing to do with Calum at that moment. Or ever. She despised of him. He was ruining her life. He took away her friends, her dad, everything. She was pulled out of her thoughts to from Calum slamming his door shut. He put his seat belt on and started the car. He backed out of the drive way and made his way to their destination.
"Are you good?" He asks her "I'm fine," she muttered. Paige didn't have anything to say to him. "Paige, we need to communicate. Look, I'm sorry for everything going on right now. You don't deserve everything that has happened. But, I want you to trust me, Fuck, no, I NEED you to trust me. Ever since I found out about you, I've had this weird connection with you. I needed to be with you. I still need to be with you. You're the only thing that runs through my mind day and night. Now that I have you, I don't want to lose you. I'm so sorry." He rambled . Paige sat there stunned. She didn't know what to do. Why would he need her? She was just some cheerleader from an infamous school?
After a little bit, Paige finally spoke up, "where are we going?" Calum looked over at her and placed his hand on her thigh, "That is for me to know, and you to find out." Paige rolled her eyes and looked back over at him "I hate surprises honestly. Why can't you just tell me?" "Just trust me. It's not that far away. We should be there in about 5 minutes." Paige just glared at him and then turned her head to look out the window.
Sure enough, 5 minutes later they arrived to their destination. There was music blaring by a live band Paige heard of on a few occasions but never really listened to. There were vendors, tents, and lots of people. Paige was impressed. She just stared at everything in admiration. She was pulled out of her thoughts by Calum putting an arm around her waist. "Welcome to the Rock Show" he said. "This is amazing and it's my first one." She whispered. "Well I'm glad i was able to be here with you then" He said then kissed the top of her head, "Let's go grab some food then get a spot." Paige just nodded her head and walked with Calum. She liked this side of him. The nice, smooth Calum. She was again pulled out of her thoughts by Calum stopping in front of her. That's when she realized that they were in a line for a Dunkin vendor. "What kind of doughnut do you want?" Calum questioned her. "Just a chocolate with sprinkles I guess." "Anything else?" Paige thought for a moment before saying, "Yea a french vanilla iced coffee." "O-okay. Just go stand over there and I can bring it to you." She listened to Calum and walked over to a vacant bench.
"Well hello. Who are you?" Paige looked up to see some random guy standing in front of her. "Why the hell does it matter?" Paige muttered. "Well because some pretty girl like you shouldn't be here alone." He said. "I'm not here alone. My boyfriend is getting me food. So leave before he comes over here and kicks your ass for talking to me." He just smirked at her. Paige took a moment to look at his features. He had longish brown curly hair. He had an accent too, but now one Paige ever heard before. "I know exactly who your 'boyfriend' is and trust me, if you want to live, you better come with-" He was cut off by someone yelling, "LEAVE HER THE HELL ALONE!" Paige realized it was Calum and she walked over to him. "Did he touch you?" Paige shook her head no. This mysterious boy walked over to them, "Long time no see Calum. How have you been?" He smirked. "Harry, leave me the hell alone. Leave Paige the hell alone" Calum was getting angry, Paige could tell. "Well, you and your little 'gang' killed three of my men. I think it's only fair if i get something in return." Calum asked, "Well what do you want? Money? How much?" The guy known as Harry said, "I don't want your money. I want the girl." Calum instantly said, "No. No fucking way. She is mine. You didn't even know she existed until now. Name something else." Harry took a few steps closer, "You see Calum, I always get what i want, and what I want is your girl." Calum pulled out a gun. "Yea, well sometimes change is good." and he shot Harry. "PAIGE RUN!" and with that they both ran off to Calum's car. Paige couldn't believe it. She just watched Calum shoot him. What would he do to Paige?
"I'm so so sorry you had to see that." Paige didn't now what to say. "C-calum. I just want answers." He sighed and looked at her, "Babe, you will get your answers but not yet. Soon, but not yet." She just nodded and looked out the window. She saw Calum pull out his phone, "Mikey, I need you to get the guys and go into the office.......yea I uhhh, I just shot Harry....HE WAS TRYING TO TAKE PAIGE....yea we're on our way." Paige fell asleep shortly after.
