Amanda's POV:
"Great," I sighed as I shuffled through my mail, "A letter from the castle. How exciting. I wonder what useless law King Turner has passed now."
When I got inside and reached my kitchen table, I sat down and tore it open. Though it was addressed to both my husband and myself, I was dying of curiosity.
"Dear Devoted Citizens,
We regretfully inform you that King Turner, our devote ruler of the First Province, has died at sea on his most recent trip.
However, rest assured that the kingdom will be kept in firm authority by King Turner's daughter, Princess Charlene Montana Turner.
The Princess's coronation will take place the next coming Thursday. All citizens over the age of ten are required to attend.
Thank You for Your Bravery,
Raven, Your Royal Adviser"
A shriek bubbled to my lips, sending Timothy into a crying fit in his playpen in the kitchen. Tears flew down my cheeks, in quick succession of one another. I jumped up from my chair and ran to soothe my sobbing infant. Lifting him from his crib, I pressed him to my chest and began to dance around the kitchen, "We've got a chance, Tim. She could change everything. Maybe open a new school. That autistic kids could go to."
I froze, causing Timothy to cling to the front of my shirt, "Maybe it won't have to be a secret anymore," I began to cry harder than my baby, "Oh, Tim. Maybe you won't have to live in secret."
