Charlene's POV:

I fought back tears as Willa and I chatted about my coronation. Meaningless things, really. What dress I would wear, napkin colors, those type of things. Just trying to keep our minds over what had happened over the past few days.

We were discussing whether my crown would have a pink tinted diamond or a regular diamond at it's center when I lost the battle within myself. Tears slid down my cheeks anew. Desperately, I tried to rid myself of them before they ruined my makeup.

"Sweetie!" Willa exclaimed, quietly, "What's wrong?"

"I don't know!" I replied, harshly, "I'm just so sad after touching you."

Willa furrowed her brow in thought, "How did you feel after touching Jess?"

"Well," I began, but stopped to think for a moment, "You know what, I was really happy at first. I had just had a cute, funny, memory about the two of us talking in front of Cinderella Castle, it was about this Maybeck guy. We seemed like we were thirteen, or so. I gave her a hug and we chatted for a minute, but then, I was just furious. Out of nowhere. So angry at her. I couldn't help myself. I sent her away because I was worried without someone to tell me 'no', I'd have her executed."

We sat in silence for a few minutes before Willa snapped her fingers and got an excited look on her face, "I has something to do with that Maybeck dude! In the memory you got from touching Jess, you were happy for a minute because of the memory, but then you remembered that you were angry at each other, you just couldn't remember why. But since you were so angry, you flipped out at her. When you touched me, you remembered crying over this dude because he cheated on you. And since Jess was hand in hand with that, that's why we were fighting."

I was excited now. I remembered more! "So it's like I've unlocked different parts of myself. Angry and sad. And I remember you and Jess and our relationships and memories that we had together."

Willa nodded, "So now that's going to be your emotional capacity until we find someone else on that list of yours. You've unlocked 'Charlene, The Cheerleader', your real self, so you don't have any of Princess Charlene's emotions anymore. That's why you were so," Willa paused, probably racking her brain for ways to soften the blow, "well, frightening, this morning. The only thing you could feel was angry."

"Great," I scowled, "So until we find someone else, I'm going to be a living drama bomb. How exciting."

"Yeah, well, sorry," Willa acted as if it were her fault, "And I'm going to be angry or disgusted. All the time. Great."

"Do me a favor and help me find somebody else before coronation day," I said dryly, "I'd kind of like to be happy on that day."

"I'll try, if I don't scare them away first!"

Ruefully, we both laughed as we saw the humor in it.

People don't typically like to be around someone disgusting.
