I woke up the next day feeling well rested and happy all around. I had a warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach and all I could think about was the kiss. I walked down stairs to see Liza and Gabbie doing some last minute things for the party

"Someone's in a good mood this morning" Liza said, commenting on the huge smile on my face

"How can I not be, Colby kissed me last night" I replied

Gabbie and Liza looked at each other and squealed so loud and high-pitched I could hear dogs barking in the distance. They hugged me and sat down

"OMGGG tell us everything" Gabbie said setting down our coffees. I told them all about the kiss and they oooed and aaaahhd. We got up and started finishing everything for the party. David and everyone got here a little while later and helped us with last minute touches until everything was perfect. I went upstairs and got changed so I could look my best for a certain boy coming tonight. I put on my swimsuit under my outfit.

I walked down stairs and Alex looked at me weirdly. I looked at him and gave him a confused look.

"What?" I asked

"Nothing, nothing. It's just...." he answered trailing off

"What???"

"Your outfit. I don't know, it's not something you'd normally wear, especially to a party. You normally like to be comfortable at pool parties..." He said analysing me. It was true, I don't normally wear stuff like this to parties unless it's genuinely fancy. I brushed it off cause I knew I looked cute but something about how well Alex knew me was bothering me.

"I know I just wanted to try something knew. New house new me" I said joking

"I like DJ the way she is" he said under his breath

I pretended I didn't hear and walked away. The house was all set up and people started arriving soon after. Once the house was filled up I decided to look for Colby. I found him standing by the bar on his phone. I walked up to him and made surety flip my hair and sway my hips a little to get his attention. It worked and he stared while I strutted towards him casually, like I was just wandering around.

"DJ!" he said waving me over

"Hey! I'm so glad your here" I walked over to him. He kissed my cheek and I smiled

"Yeah I am too. This party is amazing" he said looking around at everything. It really was amazing. The whole house was filled with people, the music was perfect, and everyone looked like they were having fun. I saw Gabbie and Zane taking shots and David and Liza were dancing together. I snapped out of my thoughts when Colby spoke.

"DJ have you met Brennen Taylor" He asked when he pointed to a guy with brown hair with blonde tips next to him

"No but I've seen your videos, you're really funny" I said saying hi

"Yeah I've seen yours too, you're really hot" he answered, clearly intoxicated. I laughed and continued the conversation.

It was about 12:00 and the party was still jumping. I wasn't too drunk just a bit tipsy and I was having so much fun taking shots with Katrina and Devyn. All the sudden Devyn whispered in Kat's ear and looked behind me. I turned around to see a super pretty girl with red hair with Colby. She was sitting on his lap and very clearly flirting with him. She was laughing loudly, god she was even pretty when she laughed like a hyena. Colby was just sitting there probably telling one of his adorable jokes. I was just about to brush it off, I mean we aren't dating and it's not like their hooking up, after all I'm the one that kissed him last night, not her. 

Then it happened, she bent down and planted a sloppy kiss right on his perfect lips. I felt my heart sink and I ran upstairs. Kat and Devyn were running after me but one of them must have slipped, cause I heard someone fall and when I looked behind they weren't there.

 I climbed up my ladder that went to the roof. I sat there and thought for a while. I sat and thought about myself. I sat and thought about how stupid I was to think this boy would ever like me. This felt like high school again. Get me out of here now.
