Harry, Louis, Liam, Zayn, and Niall had all been thrown into a dark room. They manage to untie themselves but the heavy door was chained shut. Harry cursed and kicked the door, then scooped Niall into his arms and assured him it would be alright.
"I'm tired, Hazza." Niall mumbled against Harry's chest, his eyes drooping. His whole body hurt, and he hardly had strength to move anything anymore.
"Just sleep baby, okay? Just sleep I'll be right here." Harry ran his hands through Niall's hair. He studied the bite marks on Niall's neck, the way his lips were slightly bruised, and how fast he fell asleep.
"He's broken." Harry muttered, mostly to himself. "He's broken, isn't he? A-and I can't fix him."
"Harry-"
"He's hurt!" Harry said, interrupting Louis. "He's been abused and violated and I couldn't protect him!"
"It's not your fault, okay? It's that sick fuck's fault. Niall knows you can't do anything, okay? Niall knows it's not your fault. He loves you, Harry."
Harry sighed. He looked around the room, noticing a slightly lighter patch of black just above his reach.
"Liam, take Niall." Harry said. "Quick."
Liam scooped Niall into his arms before he questioned Harry. "Why, what's wrong? Are you okay?
Harry didn't bother answering Liam. He didn't have time. "Zayn, I need your help. Boost me up real quick, yeah?"
Zayn locked his hands together as a footrest. Harry reached up to touch the lighter spot of black, noticing how there seemed to be shadows painting it, and little white spots in it. He found a ledge under the spot as well, one that blended into the wall.
"A window!" Harry said excitedly. "There's a window right here!"
Harry began prying it open, but as soon as he got it open, the door swung open and a man, one that wasn't Greg, came in, looking a little more than angry.
