Harry's heart froze. Niall, Louis, and Zayn all gaped at the man, beyond confused and scared. Why was the man here? How did he get out of jail?
Harry's grip on Niall tightened, pulling the blonde boy into his body.
"Nobody here to protect you now, huh?" Greg said, smirking. "That's too bad."
"What do you want?" Liam shouted. Greg turned to him.
"I want him." The man said, pointing the gun at Niall again.
"No. No you're not hurting him again." Harry said. Greg moved closer to the couple and Harry backed up, Niall still in his arms.
"Really? And what are you gonna do about it?" The man turned to Zayn, pulling the trigger. A bullet didn't come out. Instead, a dart did, landing in Zayn's arm. He collapsed.
Tranquilizer.
He shot Louis and Liam both in their right leg. They both collapsed as well, hitting the floor with a painful thud.
"Anybody else in the house?" The man asked, turning to Harry
Danielle. Perrie. Eleanor. Harry thought. "N-no."
"Good. Well, time to get you and your lover boy out of here, along with all your other friends."
Greg ripped Niall out of Harry's arms and shot the curly-headed boy in the leg. The dart stung but the pain went away when the young boy's world went blank.

"Anybody else in the house?" A gruff voice asked. Danielle mentally begged Harry not to give her or Perrie or Eleanor away.
"N-no."
Danielle breathed a silent sigh of relief. She risked a peek around the corner to see the man tying Niall up. Danielle dashed upstairs, not making a sound loud enough for Greg to hear. She went into Zayn's room, placing her hand over Perrie's mouth. Perrie's eyes shot open.
"Don't make a sound." Danielle whispered, her voice shaky. "The kidnapper's in the house. He's taking the boys away. We're gonna get Eleanor and we're gonna save them okay?"
Perrie, shocked, nodded.
"Don't speak." Danielle took her hand from Perrie's mouth. She pulled Perrie out of bed and they both made their way to Eleanor's room. Perrie put her hand over Eleanor's mouth while Danielle explained the situation with a shaky voice. Eleanor had just slipped out of bed when they heard a voice.
Danielle quietly breathed a sigh of relief. She, Perrie, and Eleanor had to be quiet, as they was right there in the hallway, listening on everything Greg said.
"Good. Well, time to get you and your lover boy out of here, along with your other friends."
Everything was silent for a moment.
"Hello?" Greg seemed to be talking on the phone. "Dan? It's Greg. Yeah, yeah I got the guys. I'm gonna meet you there. Warehouse 32 right? Okay. Yeah I'm not gonna be there right away. Those little brats said there's nobody else in the house but I don't believe em. I'mma have to take a peek around. Yeah, see you in, I dunno, half hour? Yeah that sounds right. Okay, I'll see you in a while."
The girls hearts pounded when heavy footsteps began up the stairs. Danielle closed the door so it was only open a crack and went to the window.
"Go!" She whispered. Perrie went out first, swinging her legs over the side and hanging by her fingers for a moment before she dropped down. Eleanor went next, and Perrie caught her before she could hit the ground. Danielle went last, holding herself up with one hand as she reached up and pulled the window back down. Perrie and Eleanor caught her and they all ran into some trees in the backyard.
"Should we take pictures of the van?" Perrie asked. "Turn them in to the police?"
"The police won't help." Danielle said. "They didn't even notice the man escape from prison! But we should take pictures, just in case. Good idea, Perrs."
They all got their phones out, snapping a few pictures before they ducked, watching as the man came out of the house and got in the car.
"Come on," Danielle said. "I know where they're headed."
