Despite everything, you smiled at me,
Although it's fake, although you're hurting,
And like a fool, I shakily smiled back,

Two lonely birds sit inside a cage,
It is time for us to set them free

This unbreakable red thread that ties and connects our hearts,
We held on to it to keep it steady.
This vulnerable red string that binds and suffocates our throats,
