In fixing broken things...
Some may not even try to fix it because they find it to be a waste of time(it's just going to crack again anyway), or they're afraid that they might get hurt.
Some try to fix it, but hide the fact that it's broken from others.
Some also try to repair it, but eventually, they give up, because it's already too shattered to fix. Some are determined, but sooner or later, they'll get hurt by the sharp edges.
When someone actually succeeds, the result will almost always never be the same as its former figure.
However, there are rarer times, when the outcome ends up being much more beautiful than it could have ever been before being broken.
