She says, "Yeah, he's still coming, just a little bit late.
He got stuck at the laundromat washing his cape."

She watched him talk with the other girls. She'd asked him to help her get something to eat for her and he didn't mind at all. She was his beloved afterall. She could see the food in his hands, and she could see the way he'd wanted to go to her as soon as possible. He was held up by the girls who showered him with questions, and he sent an expression of help her way.

She's just watching the clouds roll by and they spell her name
Like Lois Lane
And she smiles, oh the way she smiles

On his way into the class, Tooru saw his love staring outside the window. She said she had work to do, but it seemed like she was distracted. She turned to look at him and he melted inside. Then she smiled and he died. Then he joined the Military Force and she died a little inside.

She's talking to angels,
Counting the stars
Making a wish on a passing car
She's dancing with strangers,
Falling apart
Waiting for Superman to pick her up
In his arms, yeah, in his arms, yeah
Waiting for Superman

A year out, she's still waiting. Fear that he would have forgotten about her resides in her and she constantly watches the stars at night, unable to sleep, hoping that the sky that connected them would provide her some comfort. The nights were silent and the distant city would be filled with light, and each time a small light from a window in the city faded, a little part of her disappeared. And she waits. She waits.

She says, "Yeah, he's still coming, just a little bit late.
He got stuck at the Five and Dime saving the day."

She prays.

She says, "If life was a movie, then it wouldn't end like this,
Left without a kiss."

S

he prays.
Then she smiles.

Still, she smiles, oh, the way she smiles, yeah

She's talking to angels,
Counting the stars
Making a wish on a passing car
She's dancing with strangers,
She's falling apart
Waiting for Superman to pick her up
In his arms, yeah, in his arms, yeah
She's waiting for Superman...

"I'm home"

...to lift her up and take her anywhere

"I'm here"

Show her love and flying through the air

"I love you"

Save her now before it's too late tonight

"Welcome back"

Oh, at the speed of light
And she smiles

"I missed you"

She's waiting for Superman

"I missed you too"

[[This has to be one of my favourite songs~ I was just cruising through youtube and found this.

I fell for it immediately.

After listening to it for some time, I kinda realised that it could be used for a person who's waiting for their loved one who'd went to war and I wanted to add that element in. But I'm not 100% sure about Japan's Military Force. But I found that ground forces training last 2 years but it's voluntary- eh~ Thanks For Reading!]]
