He seemed to mutter some incoherent curses when I handed him the guitar and gave him an innocent smile. He shook his head and said,"Don't blame me if I sing badly." I gave him a toothy grin and said,"I won't." He seemed to say,"Things I do for you." But I ignored whatever he said. My concentration was on how easily he adjusted the guitar. It seemed to me that he must be using this after so many days or maybe years as his eyes stayed and traced the guitar before a soft smile took over his place. I almost refrained myself from shouting,"Find yourself someone who looks at you the same way as Nikhil is looking at guitar." Hehe..I am weird. And cool. And awesome. Nikhil eyed me suspiciously and said,"What are you doing?You have that arrogant grin." I guess that's it for today. I retorted back and spoke,"Says the kettle the pot is black." He rolled his eyes and joked,"I will not play it if you insult me." I shrugged and said,"Whatever." He tuned the guitar and did something..Well...I don't know. Anyways,he seemed ready and he started playing guitar. At first,it came out a bit out of tone and he flinched. I sat and looked silently as he stood up,closed his eyes. I don't know what he was thinking and then he started playing. And Holy Moly.I was shook. The soft tune started before and then he matched up to a particular tune.

I was awestruck at his voice.My eyes were still wide and my face shocked. He opened his eyes and asked nervously,"How was it?" I freaking shouted and said,"Oh my god!That was so awesome." I literally jumped at him give him a pat. He scratched his neck and said,"Thank you." I asked him curious,"So,where did learn it?" He seemed to think before saying,"I..I don't remember." I looked at him suspiciously before saying,"Really?" He looked determined to make me believe as he said,"Yeah.Yep.Definitely.I guess." I shook my head and was going to scold him when we heard loud noises. We looked down below and saw People were eagerly waiting for something. There were couple scattered everywhere. I asked,"What's going on?" I leaned a bit down to see if something was interesting when I was tightly pulled back from looking down. I gasped as Nikhil pulled me and I was sadly pushed(or maybe happily) to his chest. If you think he did this romance,you are wrong. He started scolding me instead,"Do you not know it is dangerous to lean from a terrace.Have you seen the gap?You are wearing heels?You could have slipped!Are you even sane?" I stood silent. I should have avoided the heels. He continued to rant and rant while still holding me and so I smacked him on head. He winced and asked,"What did you flick me for?" I said,"So,I could get your attention." He sighed and said,"Alright,I have got your attention.Speak." I tried to utter but the distance between us was less. It was distracting. His arms were caged around me and his face was dangerously near me. I could already feel his spicy cologne and see his slight stubble. I managed to say,"You have been holding me for too long." He looked at me and said,"So?" I was at loss of words,"I uhh..." Suddenly,he smirked and leaned more nearer to my face and said,"Is the distance between us bothering you?" I was speechless. He leaned more near me and I could feel him graze my cheek with his.My breath hitched at such near contact. I could feel him tease me and I couldn't take any longer. With a fierce fire in me suddenly( I blame on the cake) I looked at him and said,"What if I say no?" His smirk was more now turned into a teasing smile. We could hear people doing countdown. "10,9,8,7,6.." He cupped my face as our noses brushed and asked,"Will it be weird if I kiss you?" I couldn't help but gaze at his eyes and smiled.I said,"Will it be weird if I kissed you back?" "5,4,3,2" He spoke,"Guess,we need to find out." "1." We both placed our lips on each other. It felt like every nerve,every cell had just turned alive in me. Our hands were cupping each other as we kissed. We didn't notice if people saw us or the fireworks outside. But we definitely noticed the fireworks that were happening inside us. For me,my second kiss turned out to be too special. We nibbled and kissed further before stopping for some breath. Our faces were red and we were blushing. Both of us were rubbing hands over each other's cheeks to cool down it. We were weirdly giggling. I managed to say,"So,is it weird to kiss me?" He again leaned near my face,pushing back a strand of my hair and asked,"Did you feel weird?" I let our noses touch each other again before saying,"Why don't we try to know answer of that question again?" And we did. We kissed. Again. And again.
A/n: Someone shocked? Come on.It was finally they had some moment. I am obviously a little weird writing such scenes but I tried my level best.
