Danny's P.O.V.
I don't exactly know what I was expecting, but some guy walking down the street in a ghost get-up shooting lasers at things was not it.
I knew right from the second I saw him he wasn't a ghost, my ghost sense would have gone off. No, this was different. He seemed to have black hair, red eyes, and weird make-up. The red eyes were probably fake, and I hadn't decided on whether it was natural hair, or a wig. He wore a bikers outfit with black jeans, dark gray combat boots, a light gray t-shirt, and a black leather jacket with spikes just to top it off. He did have a sort of glow look to him. Whoever this kid was, he did look sort of convincing. However, my ghost sense has never been wrong before.
"Hey, look kid, I don't know what you think you're doing but-" I looked him up and down, "you might want to be careful with the laser."
"I thought I was convincing!" The kid complained, sighing. "Man, he so owes me big time. All well..." Before I could make sense of what was going on, the kid shot me in the chest, and I instantly passed out, falling to the ground.
***Guess who's back? Tis I, the frenchiest fry! Ha, bet you weren't expecting that! No, I can tell you have seen right through my pitiful disguise. You are correct, it is I, the Amazing Line break of Amazingness, here to give you a long and unimportant message to read. Now, carry on, I am sure you are very curious!***
Bruce's P.O.V.
I kind of felt bad for doing this, but it was important, and I didn't want to scare him off. I set him in an emergency cell towards the back of the cave, but I kept the door open so he wouldn't feel trapped, or like he was a prisoner. (Oh, the irony, am I right?)
I was about to check his pulse, when I realized that was a very stupid idea. He was a ghost, he wouldn't have a pulse, and I would just freak myself out over nothing. I sat at the cave, and Dick came back down in his usual uniform.
"So, is he awake yet?" He asked, smiling slightly with his usual cheery demeanor.
"What do you think?" I asked, still going through various files on the batcave's computer.
"Well, considering the fact that you aren't questioning anyone, I'm going to say no..." Dick chuckled.
"If you're so interested, why don't you go and check on him?" I grumbled. Don't get me wrong, I love Dick just as much as if he were my own son, but sometimes he drives me up a wall.
"Will do!" He walked down the hallway.
***You were most likely not expecting me back so soon, but I, the Amazing Line Break of Amazingness, am here! Want to hear Sparky's preface for an English assignment? If you feel thyself falling, fall fabulously, then pick yourself up and try again!***
Danny's P.O.V. Again...
I woke up to see a young boy in a really weird costume standing above me. I blinked in confusion, wondering if he was just a figment of my imagination.
"Hey! You're awake!" He smiled. Nope.
"Uhh..." I muttered like an idiot. "Where am I?" I asked, looking around the room. It looked like I was in a jail cell for a minute, except the door was wide open.
"Oh, right! I will be right back!" He ran out the door and down a hallway. A few minutes later, he came back with someone I remember from a few pictures Tucker had showed me. Batman.
"Hello, Phantom." He looked at me. Not in a menacing way, but more like he was analyzing my every move. Truth be told, it was kind of creepy.
"Hi...So, where am I?" He looked around.
