The weekend after Nate's party was more like a blur. I soon found myself groaning and cussing trying to get out of my bed to get ready for hell aka school. Grabbing the first pair of t shirt and jeans that my eyes laid on I got ready and made my way downstairs. Dad had already left for work and Nick had to meet up with one of his friends before collage so he was already gone.
After eating a bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice I grabbed my back pack and grabbed my car keys and jacket locking the door behind me. School was a 10 minute drive from my house and I had enough time to get there and hang out with my friends before school starts.
Once I pulled my car in the school's parking lot, grabbing my backpack I made my way towards the bench, which was situated outside the school building. This bench had been our hangout spot since the freshman year.
"Hey guys" I greeted all my friends who were already present at the spot and were talking among themselves. I heard a few "hey's" in return and I took an empty spot next to Lucy. My group consisted of a few jocks like Kevin, Justin, Jeremy and of course Nate.
Lucy was Justin's girlfriend. They both had been dating since 9th grade and were pretty much head over heels for each other. Other than me and Lucy we had one more girl in our group Chelsea. Chelsea was a cheerleader and every guys desire but she had her eyes only for Kevin. Her crush was pretty obvious but Kevin being his idiotic self never really took her hints. Nate and Jeremy were the group’s playboys and though the whole school knew about it still girls were ready to throw themselves at them.
Everyone was busy talking among ourselves that no one paid attention to Jeremy who was busy trying to get us quiet.
"Kids!!!!!!" he shouted and we all fell silent looking up at him. "Finally" he muttered under his breath and cleared his throat.
"So my parents are going out of town for the weekend to visit my grandparents" he started and then looked at us making sure that we all were listening. He nodded and continued "Well I was planning to have a sleepover. I already took permission from my parents and so I will be expecting all of you on Friday at my place. Am I clear?" he asked and we all shouted a "yes".
"Good" he muttered and sat back.
Sleepover at Jeremy's was always fun. He had a huge house with a game room, movie room and pool. We camp outside in his backyard and even start a bonfire when its cold out there. It’s like we are on a camping trip with tents, marshmallows and some ghost stories. It was sort of a tradition that we always do when his parents were out of town.
When the bell rang we all groaned but got up making our way into school building. We all went our separate ways. I quickly went to my locker tossing the first period book in my bag and slammed my locker shut. A scream escaped my lips when my eyes landed on the figure leaning against the locker next to mine.
"Jesus, you gave me a heart attack" I shouted trying to calm down my pounding heart.
"Sorry" Logan muttered sheepishly running his hand through his hair.
I laughed and waved my hand "Its fine". He gave me one of his charming smiles and rubbed the back of his neck.
