Alex's POV
BAM
My hand hit the table that Isabella was on.I looked at all of them but stared at Mia the longest.Once I realised what I was doing I quickly took my eyes off of her and sat next to Mia.
So....We still on for tonight?
As I said that I knew it came out wrong and I regretted it.The others asked us what we were going to do but Mia quickly denied everything that they accused us to be doing later on.
"About that....I can't go.I have back to school detention" she rolled her eyes and made sure she separated the watermelon from the seeds of it.
"You do know you can't play with food right?" I chuckled and ate my lunch.
Everyone was having conversations with each other that even though the whole cafeteria is staring at us we ant feel it.
Mia's POV
I knew everyone was in their own world but no one even realised that everybody was staring at u.EVERYBODY.Some girls look at Vanessa,Isabella and I in jealousy because we were sitting with the populars.Some we're just looking at us in disgust like we were sluts.I had endless possibilities on what everyone might have thought but I decided to just eat my food.That was until I felt something warm on my thigh.I looked down and saw it was Alex's hand.What a man whore I mumbled to myself which wasn't really a mumble since he heard me but I guess that was the point?
"What did you say?" he said while he squeezed my thigh making me bite my lip. "Stop or I won't do the research with you" I came up with a lame threat which made me bang my head against a wall in my thoughts.As I was about to take another bite of my watermelon Alex took it away and ate it.Gosh I hate this kid.
After School
Mia's POV
The bell finally rang which signifies freedom.FINALLY!I skipped like a happy girl with a huge smile on to my car.As I was about to get in,I felt a tap on my shoulder.I turned around to see who it was and of course it's him.Alex.
"Where do you think you're going?"
"To my house you got a problem?"
He looked at Vanessa and then back to me.As he did that I realised that I forgot about after school detention and all I could say to Alex was "Oh...".I locked my car and sped walk to the school but stopped."Hold on what are you going to do while I have detention?" I asked."Give me your car keys." He didn't even bother to answer my question but I still have my car keys to him.As I walked in detention with Vanessa all I could think about is what will happen to my car and every possible scenario that would explain why Alex wanted my car keys.
