With the dragon finally slain, Nicholas turned to look at his beautiful bride-to-be. She was safe, standing near the edge and lit up with the gold of sunset. She smiles, stepping forward. But suddenly, she slips, arms flailing backwards. He can only watch as she tumbles over the cliff.
