Have you ever heard of Black October? Nelly has. After all, who wouldn't know about the month of the dark faeries? Yes, October is the month dedicated to their victory over the light faeries. They come every October, celebrating and choosing a select few to join them. When Nelly's sister, Ashley, is chosen, she steps up to take her place. But there's a secret about her that not even she knows. She's half light faery, and humanity's only chance for freedom. She holds the final decision between a life of peace, or a life of war for freedom. With lives at stake, you can guess that people would do a lot to make her mind up for her.
