"Bella, will you snap out of your mood?" My dad abruptly snaps from across the lunch table. "Look at you, you've barely touched your food and it's barely been two days."

I sigh, refusing to look up from my plate as I scrape the mashed potato to one side with my fork. "Give her a break, she is housebound remember."

"Danielle, she's done wrong. She needs to learn." He answers as he puts a fork full of chicken in his mouth. "She's not going to learn if she doesn't get punished."

I let go of my fork, drops of the gravy from the plate splattering against the wooden table. "I'm done."

"No you're not." He laughs when I stand up. "Stop being stupid, Bella."

"I'm done." I repeat myself, walking up the stairs to my room where I slam the door shut and fall onto my bed, pulling my text book from my pillow as I begin to read over the pages.

Minutes past by slowly before my door finally opens, my mom peaking her head through the small crack. "Bella," She sighs. "I'm going food shopping. Want to come?"

I don't reply when she invites herself in, sitting on the edge of my bed. "No thanks." I said, looking back down towards my text book. "I think I'm just going to stay here and study."

It was silent for a moment until my mom finally pulled my book back, forcing me to look up at her already staring down at me. "You can't stay mad at us forever."

"I'm not mad. I'm annoyed, there's a difference." I scoff, pushing the book back towards me. She sighs when I sit up completely, pushing my hair back out of my face. "I mean, as your daughter, I expected you to understand how much I work. Half a day off wouldn't make a difference. Besides, all I did was sleep."

"In the same bed as him!" She yells, suddenly standing up. "Bella, you're seventeen. Your education is more important than some boy."

"Maybe he's not just some boy." I said, my eyes trailing back down towards my book. "Me sleeping in the same bed as him hasn't bothered you before, either."

She sighs, leaning against the wall by the door. "This is like Max all over again."

I gritted my teeth and threw my head up. "Don't you dare bring Max into this!" I screamed, my eyes watering with rage. "He's not like Max! He's the exact opposite."

"Skipping classes.. Always being around each others houses.. Sounds a lot like Max."

I bite my tongue to stop me from shouting anymore as the tears spilled over my cheek. "Get out." I said, causing her to look at me in surprise. "I don't want to hear whatever you have to say, just get out."

She stayed silent for a moment, lingering around my doorway. "Your dad's going to be downstairs whilst I go shopping, I'll be a couple of hours."

I ignored her when she slammed the door shut, one of my spare sheets flying off the bed from the pressure of the air. It was then that I realized I didn't want to study, my head was hurting way too much.

I pushed myself off the bed and walked over to the balcony, a mixture of the wind and the rain hitting me in a calming manner.

"Arabella Smith." Cody's suddenly appears on his balcony. "Good, I've been waiting for you." He said when I lifted my head up to find him stood at the end of the gate, his hands strongly holding the metal bar.

"Why?" I ask, walking over to the end of my balcony, a smile reappearing on my lips. "It's cute that you miss me." I suddenly grin.

He looks at me, slightly caught by surprise when he smirks. "It's cute that you think I miss you." He said before slowly sliding his tongue across his lower lip. "I need  you to come on a walk with me."
