Beauty Unmentioned

A flower blossoming in spring,

a butterfly's mismatched wing,

a mother to her child she sings,

on beauty unmentioned.

A sky to earth it lifts,

the river and the autumn drifts,

the moon and the sun it shifts,

on beauty unmentioned.

A small child's first laugh,

the slow walk of a newborn calf,

the grace of the tall giraffe,

on beauty unmentioned.

Ignorance is bliss,

fragrance of a lover's kiss,

the heart of a snake's hiss,

are beauties all unmentioned.

In winter a flower dies,

as children soon learn their lies,

ignorance is our demise,

on beauty unmentioned.

the sun soon starts to rise,

the men begin to realise,

that life consists of compromise,

and the earth's beauty is unmentioned.

As the world begins to go to sleep.

The wolf walks hand in hand with sheep.

The mouse chases the cat to a hole so deep,

that life is truly a sadness unintentioned.

The rain begins to slowly fall,

a tree begins to lose its tall,

the earth begins to gradually pall,

as the world begins to pension.

The moon and sun begin to fade,

to a catastrophic sonic shade,

a bitter swamp, a summer glade,

are washed away with her final descension.

A bird begins to cry a cry,

a maid begins to shy a shy,

and the world begins to die a die,

as the earth crumbles in dissension.

The final moment draws to a close,

a flower petal and a winter rose,

the winter heat and the summer snows,

are the earth's final extention.

The darkness closes fully in,

punishment for our one big sin,

is delivered in the final din,

and the earth dies in the execution.

A flower bud begins to spread,

the sun and moon are finally dead,

far away it was once heard said,

that she got all that was in for her in the end.

A raven cries in anticipation,

a phoenix is reborn in the ashes of the nation,

adam and eve once again have a revelation,

that without us, beauty goes not unmentioned.

Then it is surely true,

that the grass is green and the sky is blue,

that roses are red, and cheese is blue,

and this poem sucks as much as you :P
