Looking At Stars(An Ink x Error fanfiction)

What did Ink just wonder?Ink didn't want to believe what he said.It was't true.

"You've never been here before?"

"...Somehow I feel like I have..."

The memory was on the tip of his tongue.He felt his heart heart,(SOUL),skip a beat when he heard Ink talk again.

"Wow..like...when you were...a kid?"

Error looked at him in a weird way.Error almost felt like once in a timeline him and Ink had grown to be good friends.

"Y-yea?"

Ink was shocked.Could he have been the one in his dream?Could that have been his childhood friend?Ink shook his head and hugged his knees.

'This can't be him.He's too different to be him.'

Ink stared into Error's eyes,and Error looked into his.They both didn't realize either of their blushes.Feeling uncomfortable Error tore his eyes away and grabbed Ink's arm.He stood up,hauling Ink to his feet.

"Do you see the surface often?"

"No?"

Error smiled and teleported both to Undertale,a pacifist timeline.They both landed on soft grass.Kids and monsters laughed and played together.Asgore was mowing the lawn.While Sans sat underneath a tree snoozing off.

Ink giggled,waving at Asgore;he returned the wave.

"I always wondered why you didn't destroy this place."

"'Cause...I knew this timeline was your favorite..."Error uttered rather quietly.He didn't want Ink to hear that but at the same time he did.He wanted to-

"What was that Error?I couldn't hear you."

Error shook his head as in to say nothing;he sat down on the grass,tracing his fingers on it.Ink sat besides him just realizing Error was still holding his arm.Ink pulled it out of his grip and stared at the sunset with Error.

So first they were looking at stars,then they were looking at a waterfall together,and now they're looking at a sunset.What's next?...A movie~?<3

"You like looking at the sunset?"

"No,but I know you do."

Ink laughed nervously scratching the back of his head.Ink wasn't looking at the sunset,instead he was looking at Error's hand which was simply resting on the grass.The little squid looked back to the sunset trying to block out any more thoughts like those.

The glitchy skeleton looked at the other skeleton who said,

"Isn't it beautiful...?"Ink smiled sweetly,loving the sensation of the sunlight beaming on him.The fresh air only made this so much better.

"Yea...it really is."Obviously Error wasn't talking about the sunset,but Ink was unconscious of that,so Error let it be.Error sighed wanting to express his feelings for Ink.He doesn't know how to say the way he's feeling though.

He stood up and opened a portal.

"C'mon smol.Your brother is probably worried."

"My brother is probably not even home yet."

"Doesn't matter,let's go."

"Fiiiine."Ink stood up lazily and walked through the portal with his glitchy friend following.

When the two arrived at Smol's house Papyrus was already there.When he caught sight of Ink he tackled him to the floor cuddling him like a teddy bear.

"OH INK!YOU HAD ME WORRIED SICK!"He nuzzled him,not even realizing Error was just standing there watching awkwardly.

When Papyrus's gaze fell on him his face froze.He quickly got to his feet,not pulling his brother up.He was frozen like a statue.He tried his best to sound confident.

"I-I KNOW W-W-WHO YOU ARE..!!NO...I..I KN-KNOW WHAT YOU ARE!!W-WHY ARE YOU HE-HERE!!?"

As soon as Ink's brother spoke to him,Error's smile converted to a scowl.

"It's none of your business."

"TH-THIS IS M-MY HOUSE!!S-SO..YE-YES IT I-I-IS...!!"

Error looked at Ink who was still on the floor.Ink snapped back to reality,he stood up and quickly rush over to Error's side.

"He's staying here for...a while.He's okay though!We made a truce.RIGHT,Error?"

Error placed an elbow on the counter near him.With a doubtful tone he answered.

"Ya,mhm..."

Papyrus stood blankly,not knowing what to say to this news.He opened his mouth,but no words could form.He looked to Error who had a devilish smirk,Papyrus found this very unpleasing.The tall skeleton could do nothing but shake his head slightly,and slowly.

Could this be true?Why?After everything,why?The abomination didn't deserve anything given to him.He didn't deserve the kindness he was getting from his brother.He looked at Ink,he saw his happy smile,he felt his warm cheery vibe.Then he was able to put the words together...Both Ink and Error were a little confused by what he said next.Ink though,maybe he understood a little bit of what he meant.

". . .what . . "

". . .why brother,why. . ."

". . .why does he deserve what he's getting. . ."

". . .this doesn't make sense to me,brother. . ."
