I look closer and listen to what I feel
Is this something real?
What will I do if it isn't my will?
There's your heart I wanted to steal.
It's hard to believe
But it's harder to deceive
Hopeless thought is all you give
When all I wanted was to love and live.
You're always in my mind
With these feelings I can no longer hide
It's bursting like fireworks inside
It's turning like a roller-coaster ride.
Time may never be just right
But I'm holding on so tight
A girl with no armor learns to fight
For a boy who can't see her in his sight.
When will he ever know?
When will she ever show?
When will the love grow?
Hope is gone and the heart dies slow.
