The forest was kind to some, harsh to others, as it showed as you ventured deeper and deeper through the leaves and trees.

"I'm scared." Sophia said.

"Don't be." I single tonally reply.

"What are we going to do?" She says after we walked about 4 yards since she last spoke.

"Find some rope. Climb high into the tears. Camp there for the night. Find a compass and go back to the prison." I say, not explaining it in too much detail because I frankly couldn't be bothered.

The last moments of being hostage of Brian and Merles kept replaying in my head, he almost raped me. I stabbed him in the eye with a shattered piece of glass. He probably only has one eye.
"Br-eye-an." Ha. Only has one I. Like one eye.

I chuckle to myself, but Sophia stays Silent. We had no protection, no nothing.

"Over there." I whisper to Sophia, as in the corner of my eye I see an old camp, which probably became overrun, supplies surrounding the place.

"Check the left side of the camp, I'll go right." I say.

So we check the camp, ripping apart bags, sleeping bags, suitcases, finding anything we could possibly use.

But although we may appear fine, to be honest and I think Sophia would agree, I have a gut full of worry.

"Can we stay here the night?" Sophia asked.

"Guess so." I say.

After a few moments silence, with just the ruffles of sleeping bags and tents cutting the atmosphere, Sophia built up the courage to speak again.

"What's the matter with you?" She says.
