Cold water splashed across my face and I opened my eyes reluctantly, still winced from the pain in my abdomen.Another water splash straight over my wound and I was throbbing real hard, screamed escaped my lips.
I was tied up on a steel chair.
Once my vision became clearer, I looked up and saw an unknown prominence-looking man without his armor, just his uniform.
His lips turned into a smirk.
"How does it feels to get trapped into our kingdom, King Williams?"
He leaned down and gave me his signature smirk.
I spat at his face and without a second, he slapped me across my face, knowing it would leave a red marks on it.
"You scum!" He spat at me and he lifted his hand up ready to slap me.
I closed my eyes.
Nothing happened.
I opened my eyes to see a hand grabbed on his hand and jerked him away.
"Don't slap a loser like him." The voice said calmly and my anger tempered up.
I looked up to see a very tall, rigid-looking man.
Antonio's eyes bored into mine emotionlessly.
"Brother, why leave this loser alive and not kill him."
Antonio examine my face for a reaction but he sees none because my armor helmet showed only my eyes.
"Why killed him when you got two kingdoms in your hands?" His voice was deep, fury and yet elegant.
"Let's torture him alive."
My breathing hitched.
"Johnson, let me decide this." Antonio placed his palm on his brother shoulder and his brother nodded.
He bowed and gave me a smirk and left.
"Everybody, you've done your duty, go on." Antonio said.
They all left.
No one question a thing even if they were curious and that speak to me how well they've been trained.
The room filled with our breathing and heartbeats.
Our eyes fixed together and for a moment, I almost wish I am not the daughter of my father, the ex-king of Ameragonia.
Almost.
He took a step closer.
My breathing stops.
He leaned down.
Did I breathe?
"I want to see princess Magnificent."
My eyes wide open, shocked.
My hands trembling.
My voice shaking.
"Why?", I said, "out of all the people in the kingdom, why her?"
He stood up, adjusting his black and gold suit.
"Because she's magnificent."
