Where we went

When I say his full name his mood fully changed, instead of annoyance it was more of... what would it be called.... determination. He had calmed down, no longer focused on getting there, more on keeping me here. He grabbed my thigh and softly said " Cassie, please baby stop asking questions." I finally gave in, I crossed my arms with a big pout and whimpered "hmm" to make him feel bad.

    It earned me a squeeze on my thigh. The rest of ride was silent, no music, no talking, all there you could hear was the air blowing and our breaths. It was about a hour and a half in the silent drive when I was finally getting restless, my mouth opened to say something anything to start a conversation. When chad announced "we're here," I looked around anything to recognize this place when I saw it.

   The place where we were going. This place brought so many happy memories, a few upsetting memories, and a couple rough decisions we were here. The best place in the world for me and him, the place we met.

  I can't believe my eyes, I gasped and turned over to see my soul mate staring at me with deep love and respect in his eyes "ta-da" he whispered, I jumped out the car and ran to the broken down, small, rusted farmhouse, where I first met this guy in the car. It made super happy but extremely upset wasn't he just breaking up with me a few hours ago? Why am I here?

  I didn't want to ask him of such so it reminds him that he was making that decision to leave me, I couldn't live without him, he is my morning afternoon and night, he's my breath, my reason to live. I couldn't imagine a life without him. But it was a question that's eating at me and I couldn't just brush it away I need to know. So slowly, I turn around face him and quietly ask "why did you bring me here?"

    With my question it caused a puzzled look to come upon his face "I-I-I thought you were going to love this! Why do you look so upset" he stuttered. I chuckled with regret in my voice "I do love it" I admitted " but you were just breaking up with me a few hours ago, and then you KIDNAPPED me and brought me here! Where we first met. So I'm just confused and questioning what's going on here?" Time for the truth to come out....
