Chiaki x Hajime Fanfic.....(?)

It's a date

"Hm...okay. Let's go to......your cottage!"
Hajime had a surprised look on his face. "Uh..my cottage..?" But then he shrugged and said with a smile "Sure, yeah, okay let's do it." He turned to the exit and motioned for me to follow. So I did and followed him outside to his cottage.
I didn't know any other places to go to, this was the only thing that came to my mind. Oh well, we'll probably have plenty of other free times in the future. ..Right?
Hajime opened the door to his cottage and let me in, he then closed the door and we both sat on his bed next to each other.
None of us said a word. It was silent for almost one minute, so Hajime decided to make some small talk.
"So....why'd you want to come here? N-Not that I mind or something, just wondering if you had a reason." He said immediately after finishing his first sentence.
"Ah, well, this was the first place that came to my mind, so I thought, why not?"
...That's totally not what I thought, I had plenty of other places in my head, but it looks like someone was telling me to go to this place. I'm pretty sure he made this choice with naughty intentions in his head. But of course I couldn't just say that to him! It's not something I would ever think of.
"I see.. it's best to just follow your intuition right?" He said and murmured something to himself after that.
It looks like he's thinking about something, something on his mind that he wants to talk about.
Should I take his mind off of it? Or should I ask him what's on his mind or wait until he speaks.
