Here I am, sitting on my bed in my cottage. On this uninhabited island along with 6 other students. Yeah, you heard me right. The other 8 students were murdered or executed. I feel bad for everyone here. I don't want them to go through this. They all can get along with each other pretty well. But here you can barely see that. Their face expressions when they see one of their friends murdered..it's only despair. I try my best to be hopeful and share that hope with them, but how will they react when they hear that I'm a traitor? The, traitor. I'm scared they'll feel betrayed, even though I didn't harm them or anything.
I shake my head and stop thinking about all that. I'm sorry, I shouldn't talk too much about that, I bet that's boring to listen to, isn't it? My head hurts now from all that thinking.
But just so we're clear, nothing's really happening right now. I mean as in there's no investigation, no murder, no class trial. Not now anyway. I call this part 'Free Time'. It's basically where we wait for a murder. I know my friends don't want to kill but.. it's Monokuma's fault. He comes up with a motive every once in a while and.. yeah, you know..
Enough about that!
Let me tell you about my friends, Hajime, Fuyuhiko, Sonia, Kazuichi, Akane and Nagito. I enjoy talking to each one of them and it makes me happy when they have fun with each other.

...What? You want me to what? O-Okay fine fine.. I admit that I feel something for Hajime..but I can't exactly figure out what it is. I feel different around him, like I have this special feeling. He teaches me new things and is really kind to me. He's a very good friend of mine! ..and maybe even something more. You know I-
*DING DONG*
"Ah!" That's my doorbell. I wonder who it is..?
I get off my bed and walk towards the door and open it to see Hajime standing outside.
"?!" Of course right when I'm talking about him, he rings my doorbell. I have a calm expression on my face, but I'm pretty sure he can see that I'm also surprised to see him. It's true, I didn't expect him at all! What do I do?
