step 1. open the image you want to edit
step 2. duplicate the image (ctrl + J)
step 3. go to the blending options (with the image copy selected)
step 4. uncheck the 'R' found in the Channels portion in the Advanced Blending
step 5. move the image copy until you get the 3d effect you wanted
