Berny's pov

The school had just returned from the summer vacation to start a new semester in a new session. They both passed their exams and are now in 200 level. Berny and Mike walk to the school garden and sat in one of the chairs in the garden. They talked and laughed about all what has happened in the past years, how Berny gains a lot of boys admiration and she will end up yelling at them 'can't you just leave me alone '!!!!aaaaargh!!!!!
I don't shout that way, she said

They continued talking while a fat girl passed by. Her name is Tiffany, she greeted Mike flirtatiously while eyeing and hissing at Berny.
  Ohh oh there we go,  one of your admirers, said Berny smirking
Well... Maybe. She is too fat, he said frowning his face.
May be she is born in March, Berny joked.

Then they felt a hand on their shoulders, they almost jump thinking it was Tiffany but it was only Terra .

Hi Terra they both said together, they greeted each other warmly, she is Berny's bestie ,though it also took a while before she believes Berny wasn't dating Mike.

Looking up she saw Angela walking towards them
Hey!! Here comes the witch ,Terra said
They all laughed including Mike who Angela is head over heels for.
Terra quickly excused herself as she almost got close to them and Berny did the same, but Mike did not want her to go yet, but Berny insisted. As she turned to go he held her wrist.

Mike's pov

I will call you when she is gone, he told her.
No, don't bother, am going to the library and home from there probably, Berny answered.
Ohh  okay, he said, I will see you tomorrow.
Bye Berny said. Bye he answered he kept staring at her not knowing when Angela got closed to them. Angela is a spoilt brat from a rich home. He don't like her.
Hey! Mike what are you doing here making her voice sounds sexy but to mike she sounds like a broken record.
Nothing!! what do you want ? He answered scowling.
What do I want??  She asked sarcastically, anyway isn't tomorrow your Birthday lets go and prepare for it.
But.... He said, no but or I will call your dad and report to him she said smirking wickedly.

He hated her, he hated moving with her, she is not really beautiful, she acts all high and mighty, she is a nag and cling to him like a baby every time  he hated how she is always trying to ruin his relationship with Berny .
He drifted his thought away from her  to Berny . Ever since they became friends, he did not tell her his true thought about her, although he did heard her refer to love as teenage infatuation and obsession. And he doesn't want to break the friendship barrier, though he was sure she also feels something for him

Berny's pov

At night in the hostel Terra and Berny were sitting in the room talking, when Terra suddenly jump up shouting wow!!  Tomorrow is the beginning of another month!!
So?  Berny ask rolling her eyes, it's march 1 tomorrow, but why are you so happy drama queen??
Berny!  My parent will send me money to spend for the month! She explained putting her hands In a praying like posture.
Oh .my. God Terra!!! ... Is that why you are so happy??
Yes, I need money she said dramatically as she rant on about what she needed to do with the money, Berny just shook her head amaze at her friends enthusiasm.

Suddenly ,Berny remembered something. Yes!  It's tomorrow?  She said
What??  Asked Terra.
Tomorrow is Mike's birthday she told her surprised friend.
Wow!  Terra said I know you will remember that she said teasing her as Berny rolled her eyes.
What do you intend to buy for him?  Asked Terra.
Should I buy something?  She asked raising her eyebrows.
Of course?  Don't be so naive. So what should I buy Berny asked.
Think of what he would like Terra answers shaking her head  her friend is too innocent for her own good but Berny don't even care she was just smiling but when she remembered Angela, she sighs and just forget about her like she always do. The bitch don't deserve my time...
