Aint No Party Like a Grace Party

"I'm going to change, you can sit on my bed while i'm changing."

I am wondering what Grace will wear since she is rich. I'm not dressed up for her birthday. All i'm wearing is a pink tanktop and blue jean shorts with purple vans. Suddenly Grace adds,

"Oh, yeah my twin brother, Justin, is also inviting a friend. He is in our grade, and has dark blue eyes."

That kinda sounds a bit like Theo. Maybe I should give him a second chance. I have the feeling that I am starting to like him again. I put that thought aside, because it probably wont be him. Finally Grace comes out of her bathroom in a baby blue tanktop, blue jean shorts and whit converse. Grace says,

"Are you ready? My brother will be driving us to the melting pot, gokarts and icecream. He is driving because he just turned 16." We walk out to her garage. In the garage awaits a white hummer. Justin must have gotten it for his birthday. It seems new. Grace opens the passenger seat door, and i open the back door. Once i open the white hummer door, i see dark blue eyes looking up at me. They were Theo's eyes. Suddenly my heart starts to speed up.

"Hey Claire." Theo starts to say while he smiles with his eyes.

I reply with a rude remark,
"Hey! Look who can remember my name."

Theo gives off a fake laugh. I get into the car and slam the door shut. There Theo goes again with his jerkiness. I want Theo to leave me alone the whole car ride to the melting pot. I sit awkwardly trying to avoid Theo. Grace occansionally turning around to talk to me. We finally pull into the melting pot parking lot. There were alot of parking spaces left, so Justin had to park really far away. The whole walk up i talked to Grace occasionally looking over at Theo. The way he walked was really something. He had a hop to his walk. Ahhh it was just so attractive. We finally made it up to the reservations desk. Grace told the lady reservations for Porter. The lady said oh I see. She led us to a round table made for four by the window. Grace took a seat next to Justin. Theo did the same which left me sitting next to Theo and Grace. The appitizers came first. Justin ordered us veggies dipped in cheese. The carrots tasted delicous in the cheese. Next came are real meal.  I got a medium well steak, and Theo got a medium rare steak. They brought out our steaks. With are steaks there was a spinach dip. After everyone had finished their steak they brought out dessert. We got fruits dipped in chocolate for dessert. I was reaching for a strawberry until I felt someone else's hands also get the same strawberry. I slapped his hand. Theo said,

"Hey! That's my strawberry."

"No. It's mine."

We continued to argue about this forever. He finally gave up, and decided to give me the strawberry. For once he is a gentleman. When I was finished enjoying my delicious strawberry, Justin went up to pay for our meal. On our ride to Go karts Theo actually talked to me. He said,

"Why are you so mad at me?" Did he seriously just ask that, he should know the answer to that question. I replied with a serious remark,

"Remember the party, where you invited me to, and you left with Hannah?'

He starts to respond, but we pull onto the go kart place. First i get into a go kart with Grace. I let her drive, because its her birthday. We were racing Justin and Theo because you always need a bit of competition. Grace and I won the go kart racing.  I needed Grace and Justin to get in a go kart so i could get the whole place to sing happy birthday to them.  I yelled to Grace,

"Hey Grace, get in the go kart with your brother so I can get a picture."

I got in the go kart behind them. The Go Kart place said,

"1,2,3" Then we all started to sing happy birthday. After we were done they started letting the go karts go.  Theo hopped into my go  kart as soon as i left. He starts to say something,

"So about that question in the car."

"Yeah."

"I seriously dont remember any of it."

We start to take off in our go kart.

"Yeah you didnt remember beecause you were drunk."

"Fair enough. Has anyone ever told you, you have really pretty bright blue eyes?"

Theo just flirted with me. After we were finished with go karts Theo took me to the batting cages. We left Justin and Grace at the go karts because they got another free round. Theo hits first showing me how it is done. When he is finished he helps me put on my helmet gives me a bat. I hit the ball two times and on the third time I hit it.

"Yay!!!" I say. Theo comes up to hug me and i hug him back. Then he pulls me in closer and i follow, he starts to kiss me on the lips. His lips brushed against mine and it felt amazing. It was the best first kiss i have ever imagined. We were walking back to Justin and Grace an we were laughing. He said,

"You have never kissed anyone right?"

"Shutup." I say and give him a playful punch on the shoulder. He pretends to be hurt. We hop into the car and head out for ice cream. Once we arrive i get Cake Batter and Theo gets MInt Chocolate Chip. We walk out to the park next to sweet ceces. Theo asks Grace if he can talk to her alone. He walks away with Grace. Leaving me alone with Justin. I hear every word of their conersation because they are close by. One thing stood out though. Theo said,

"Grace, I know your brother wont approve but what will it take for you to go on a date with me." My heart skips a beat.
