The Aftermath

At this point we were still in the park, waiting for Grace and Theo to finish their gross conversation about going on a date. Grace tells Theo she has to think about going on a date with him. That gives me time to tell Grace about how bad he is and suggest for them not to go out. I dont understand how one moment Theo can be the shining star of you day, and the next second he can be a complete and total jerk. I have given him plenty of oppertunities but he just goes out and blows them up. I'm really falling for him, and I think he only likes me sometimes. It makes me completly miserable. After they finish their conversation we hop into Justin's car and head back to their house. This is going to be a rough night. The car ride back to their house was extremly awkward. Grace and Theo giving each other the googly eyes and myself ignoring Grace. I was just ignoring her because I feel like she likes him. He is mine though. Its not her fault I just feel like it is, and thats why i'm ignoring her. I have to try and find a way for her not to go out with him, but not mentioning that I like him. We finally make it to her huge, enourmous house. We pull into the driveway. Justin immeditaly parks and quickly exits the vehicle. I can just tell he wants to avoid as much conflict as possible. After he gets out, the rest of us get out and slam the doors shut. We head inside, and as we do Theo whispers something to Grace. Who would know what he is saying, he talks so quietly. After he is done talking Grace gives a little fake laugh that everyone can tell is fake. I head up the spirally, swirly stairs to Grace's room. Her room is the first room on the left. I walk into her room with Grace falling behind me. Right as she gets to her room I can tell she is a little frustrated with me. I could tell right as she slammed the door.

She screams with anger,

"Are you mad at me or something?"

I reply like a lost puppy,

"NO! Why would you even think to say something like that. I thought I was your friend."

She replies sacarstic,

"Oh ok, I thought you were a little mad at me when I was trying to have a conversation but you were ignoring me."

" BTW, stop being a butt, and talk like a grown-up. I'm not mad until just now. I was in deep thought in the car so dont try to assume things when you dont know the answer to them ok."

"Excuse me?" She says

"Thats right you heard what I said." I reply very rude

"I have one question before you go off, what do you think of Theo and me?"

"Honestly you guys arent right for each other. Sorry its the truth, and the truth hurts sometimes more than anything."  We were yelling at each other now and then Grace said something that truly stood out.

"So i'm guessing you and Theo would make the perfect couple then? I like Theo and he likes me and there is absuloutly nothing you can do about it. Have fun you loner, im saying yes.

I storm out of her room avoiding extra conflict. I head down the spirally stairs. As soon as i hit the bottom step I see Theo sitting on the big loveseat couch watching NBA basketball and eating popcorn. I walk closer to him and take a seat next to him.

He says,

"Hey Claire, Hows it going?"

"I'm doing ok."

"Whats wrong?"

"Girl drama."

"Oh, I see. I like you Claire. I asked Grace out to see how your reaction would be, and it seems like you had a big reaction. So i just wanted to let you know i like you." I am bloating with excitment.

He gives me a peck on the cheek and as soon as he does I see Grace out of the corner of my eye. She runs upstairs as fast as she can crying really loud.
