"You knew each other all along?" His eyes began to water, "You knew what this would do to me and you did it anyways?"
You had no excuse. What could you say anyways?
"Jungkook..." You say, as you take a deep breath.
"I never meant to hurt you."

"Y/n!" Jungkook yells while sprinting to catch up with you as you weave your way around the crowded streets of Seoul, "Y/n please! I'm sorry!"
You stop abruptly and glance down at your expensive shoes thathe bought you as an anniversary gift. You slowly turn around to face his approaching form and force your eyes to meet his dark orbs.
You take a deep, unsteady, breath before answering him.
"Jungkook, I don't care about your stupid excuses... I just want to know one thing, how? How could you do this to me?"
You asked him, your face livid, eyes filled with rage and tears that were threatening to spill, as you pointed a shaky finger at him.
He bit his trembling bottom lip. "I don't deserve to be loved by you. When I started to have feelings for you, I thought to myself, 'you know, she'll never love someone like you.' But you did... and y/n let me tell you something," He paused and looked up at the night sky, tears pooling in his eyes, "Being loved by you, is the best thing that could ever happen to anybody. I'm so sorry I betrayed you. Y/n, I don't want to hurt you anymore. Please, please go with Jimin. He'll treat you better than I ever did."
When you heard those words, you finally broke down. Your eyes burned from the tears you had tried so hard to keep from falling. But even with all that effort, they ended up betraying you as well, spilling over your eyes, in a never ending waterfall. Sobs escaped your mouth, and with that, you turned and ran away from the man who had made your heart shatter into a million pieces.
Jungkook stood in his spot, his eyes never leaving your fading figure. "I love you y/n." He whimpered, his voice low, and cracked, as he dissolved in tears.
