"All good things must come to an end."

The sound of the gunshot rang through your ears. Eyes wide, you pushed Jungkook off of you.

"Where the heck did that come from?" He said, trying to make his voice heard over the blaring music. People were still dancing around you, too drunk to notice that anything was wrong.

The gunshot had sounded slightly muffled, the reason most likely being that it probably came from outside, although it could have been from the loud music as well.

You pointed to the door leading outside, "Im pretty sure its from out there." Your body was shivering lightly from freight.

Jungkook rubbed the back of his neck before grabbing your hand and pulling you to follow him. "Let's go then."

"Whoa whoa whoah," You said as you tried to pull your hand out of his grasp, but failing because of his strong grip, "What do you mean 'let's'? There's no way I'm going out there. Did you not just hear that gunshot? Who knows what happened out there! There could be a murder out there for all we know!" Was he out of his frickin' mind?

Jungkook looked at you with a sense of urgency. "Exactly! If there is a murderer out there then we need to make sure he doesnt get away!"

You scoffed. "And how are we going to make sure he doesn't kill us too, exactly?" You asked.

"Don't worry, I have a black belt in Taekwondo" He said, waving you off.

"And? Your point? This person has a gun!"

"Come on y/n, I promise I won't let anyone hurt you," He sighed.

I can't believe I'm actually doing this, you thought.

"Fine."

He shot you smile and mouthed Thank You before taking your hand and leading you towards whatever lay outside.

"Wait."

Jungkook stopped walking and looked over his shoulder at you, "Hm?"

You looked him dead in the eye as you spoke. "I'm majoring in criminal law, watch law and order, and have dreamt of becoming a detective ever since I was 13, so I know a thing or two about what to do in case this does happen to be a murder. Once we get out there, don't do anything I tell you not to do."

He raised his eyebrow. "Okay, Detective."

When you stepped outside, the chilly night air immediately made a shiver run down your spine. The full moon gave off a creepy aura, as shadows surrounded you.

"Jungkook." You tapped his shoulder, hovering close behind him.

He hummed in response, his eyes trying to adjust to the dark.

"Turn the flashlight on your phone on. I forgot mine inside."

Jungkook sighed in disappointment, "Right. I forgot I had a phone."
After a few seconds he turned the light on, illuminating a few feet in front of you, but just enough for you to see the trail of blood.

You and Jungkook both gasped at the sight of the dark red puddles.

"Oh my god." You covered your mouth, as you tasted the riding bile in your throat.

(Idk about you guys, but blood makes me want throw up, and it makes my legs/arms go numb.)

"Um," Your voice was small and frail, "Jungkook, just remember that in case this does happen to be a murder, and you somehow find anything important like... I don't know. The weapon or something? Just.. don't touch it okay?"
