Edin shot another fireball at his attacker, hoping to hit his face, but instead it hit his hand and extinguished. He tried to summon another fireball, but had no luck. His attacker summoned a gust of wind that sent him flying. Seconds later, he was sprawled onto the floor, face first. He was dazed for a second or so, but quickly recovered.
He looked back, only to see his attacker walking towards him, a smug smile on his face. He tried to get up, but then felt a kick on his back and fell back down. He tried to crawl away, but was kicked in the hip. He tried to think of ways to at least get back up on his feet.
He rolled over and used all the energy he had left to breathe fire out of his mouth. This time, the attacker wasn't prepared, and pretty soon, all that were left of his shirt were small piles of ashes that lay near his feet. He then quickly lashed out with his right foot and kicked the guy in the stomach.
While his attacker was clutching his stomach, he got up and bolted away. Then, he suddenly felt a sharp pain on his back. He realized the he was struck by a small lightning bolt. He didn't notice that his attacker was right behind him until he grabbed him and threw him onto the ground.
"I'm surprised that you managed to survive for this long," he said. "You did well. But not nearly good enough to survive." And with that, he lifted up his staff, which had a sharp metal end at the bottom as he prepared to finish him off.
