Edin's head was spinning when he woke up. His vision was blurry at first. He glanced around the room and saw his friend Simon.

"Was it all a dream?" asked Edin.

"Was what all a dream?"

"Well, the field trip, and the guy shooting fireballs, and...well, the last part is a bit difficult to explain."

"No,it was all real."

"Are you sure? Are you sure that I'm not dre-wait, where are we?" Edin asked as he glanced around the room. He saw people in nurse outfits walking here and there and other people in beds, most which had scars somewhere visible on their body.

"We're in the treatment center."

"Wait, what?"

"On the island Ozir."

"I don't think there was any island named Ozir."

"Well, there is."

"That's not what I learned in Geography class."

"Whatever. The point is, you need treatment, so I'll be back soon with-"

"I don't need treatment! I feel perfectly fine right now!" He tried to sit up, but felt a sharp pain in his stomach and lied back down. "Or maybe not."

"You need to rest for a bit more. Most young wizards usually experience pain of some sort when they first teleport, so we bring them here and wait for them to heal."

"Wait, you teleported me here?"

"Well, it's difficult to explain, but it's not really teleporting, its more like one of our methods of travelling."

"Ok, but wizards? Am I a wizard?"

"Well, it appears that you are."

"Wait, but wizards-I mean we, know magic, don't we?"

"Yes, of course, but different wizards learn different type of magic."

"Does that include healing?"

"Yeah, that's sorta why I brought you here, because most of our healers work here and heal people, mainly newcomers like you."

"Hmm...ok then, but don't wizards normally wear those cone-shaped hats and those cloaks and whatnot?"

Simon laughed as if Edin had said something really funny.

"No, those are just myths, and myths are usually inaccurate."

"Well, not all of them are inaccurate."

"And that's why I said usually."

"Ow, my stomach hurts."

"That's why you should get more rest."

"Ok, fine. But promise to explain all of this later."

"I sort of did already, didn't I?"

"Well, there could be more to it."

"Ok, fine, I'll explain the rest later, right now, just rest."

"Mmhmm," said Edin, and with that, he fell asleep once more.

Edin woke up in a different room this time. He glanced around and found out that he wasn't wearing anything except a pair of boxer shorts. He quickly got dressed and tried to find the bathroom.
