Chapter 11 The Date

Izna's POV:

We were soon on the way and he asked so may I know where we are heading Mrs? I told him follow the directions and you shall see for yourself. He said hhhmm surprise huh. I like it and he held my hand and kissed the back of my hand. Once he parked and saw the place, he said this looks interesting... I said maybe but that's not where we're headed. He looked at me shocked and looked at around and said are you joking? I said no patience but first this and held the blindfold up. You can't see until I tell you to so can I please blindfold you? He said no way I need to know where we are going. I just sshhed him by placing my finger on his lips, asking him do you trust me? He said yes I do but I don't trust people...I couldn't help chuckle and said don't worry your tigress will save you. He just rolled his eyes and said whatever...I said common no ifs and buts. If you trust me, let me put this on and you won't regret and I winked at him to ease his tension.

He said okay I trust you but please be careful atleast for yourself since I won't see a thing.
I'm like don't worry now please keep quiet and I'll take your hands and we shall walk there.
After putting the blindfold on, I kissed him on his cheeks and whispered to him I hope you'll like it. We were walking hands in hands and soon we were there and we were greeted by the waiters and saying everything will be ready in 5 mins ma'am. I said okay. The waiter soon came back and said everything is ready ma'am, have a nice evening and do not hesitate to call me if you need anything. I thanked him and reminded him you remember what I told you over the phone yeah? I want no disturbance okay? He said sure ma'am, enjoy.

Arhan said hhhmm bossy much huh? I lightly slapped his arm and said you will know soon. I swear my idiot of husband was chuckling and whispered what are you going to do huh? I see the lady wants to disturbance. I said shut up and don't get your hopes too high and I laughed.
He muttered crazy woman under his breath but I heard him. I pretended not hearing and undid his blindfold. It took him a while to grasp in the beauty in front of him. His mouth was wide open and he was awestruck... He said beautiful. I couldn't know such an imagination could be brought to life. I said yeah thanks your lovely wife faking a full of myself attitude. He smiled and said I know only my beautiful wife could figure out something like this. Thank you baby boo. This is truly beautiful but not more than you my angel. To say I was speechless would be an understatement. I was happily surprised and I had tears of joy. He said why are you crying? I said this is an outflow of happiness and quickly wiped them off.

I got in front of him and offered him my hand saying May I? He smiled and placed his hand in mine and we walked towards the table where all the yummy food and his favs were. He smiled looking at all this and said you really do know my taste well. I said this is just the beginning, there's a lot more surprises awaiting you. He said this is already the best I could have ever imagine now I wonder what the rest would be like... We ate with a lot of talking in between, he popped open champagne and we had a really nice meal together. We just sat there drinking our champagne and just talking and talking, about all good times and we decided to click a few pictures like we always do to seal that moment. After our crazy photo session, I went to his side and asked May I have the pleasure to dance with you? He looked at me with a shocked expression but he didn't hesitate to give me his hand. We both loved good music and I played our fav song which was Perfect by Ed sheeran. We swayed to the music and he would sing along as if dedicating the song to me. At the end of it he just hugged me and said thank you for everything. I hugged him back saying said pleasure's all mine.

When we were about to break apart from the hug, he held my hands to his chest and said "To be honest, this is by far the best surprise anyone has given me. Thank you for everything.
Thank you for coming into my life and spread happiness. Despite whatever happened,you forgave me and gave me another chance. I can't thank you enough. You're my lil angel that brought light to my darkness. I love you and I promise to always be by your side". I was quite taken aback by his confession but my heart reacted faster and I ended saying I love you too. I was in tears and I just hugged him and we stayed like that for what seemed like the longest time. Soon we broke free and I called for the waiter, settled the bill and thanked him for everything at such a short notice.We drove back home and we were playing our favorite songs and singing along like old times. I couldn't help smile thinking this is so us, this was how we were crazy and carefree and who could laugh at anything. I took his hands in mine and I kissed his knuckles and I said I love you boo. He just smiled and said I love you too baby boo.
I couldn't help but have that wide smile and blush again at his confession.

Arhan's POV:

That ride was something special, my baby boo seemed so happy and she didn't say anything when I held her hand and placed a kiss there. In fact she just smiled. I tried asking where we are heading but she just said patience. When we got there, I was surprised when she said that's not where we're heading and held that blindfold up. I was arguing with her over not wearing it and there she said don't worry your tigress will save you and she chuckled. I thought this was the best sight I could ever see, but little did I know what more was awaiting me... After blindfolding me, she kissed my cheek and whispered hope you'll like it. Man! with just that little action of hers, my tummy was doing somersaults and it felt like I got touched by current. What is happening to me?

I didn't let go of a chance to tease her while she was talking, rather ordering that poor waiter. As usual, it earned me a smack haha, but when it comes to her, I like all these little things. When she opened my blindfold, I was awestruck to see the setting and when I complimented her for bringing this imagination to reality, she didn't let that chance go to praise herself, but I know she was just playing, my baby boo is a very down to earth person, and she prefers to be low key whenever she does something. When I complimented her, she blushed but then I saw tears in her eyes and soon they were flowing, and rightly thought, she said these were tears of joy. When in all majesty she asked for my hand, I felt like a King with my Queen by my side. She indeed knew my choice very well and we had a nice dinner with our champagne and we just talked a lot, about all our good times we have shared through this decade. We don't realise how time flies when we're together. I know she how much she likes capturing moments and after our crazy photo session, she came up to me and asked if she could have the pleasure of a dance with me? I was happily surprised and even more when I heard the song she chose which, again was our fav song. We have a lot of memories with that song and I thought she deserved that I sing along those few lines for her. At the end of the dance, I couldn't resist taking her in my arms and ended up saying thank you for everything.

However, I thought, since now I know my feelings very well for her, why not take this beautiful opportunity to confess my love for her. So when we broke free from the hug, I just took her hands in mine and blurted out all that I have been wanting to tell her. She was indeed my lil angel in my life and she deserved all the happiness and pampering and love from my side. I'll make sure I'm always the reason for her happiness and not sadness or tears. I ended with saying I love you. I thought maybe it would take time for her to feel the same and reciprocate my feelings, but I was wrong. My happiness knew no bounds when she said I love you too. The ride back home was even better with our usual car karaoke and crazy laughter. I felt she was slowly opening up and daring too haha, she kissed my knuckle and this time she said I love you first and when I replied I love you too, there she blushed like it was new and I can't tell you how much I love that blush on her. It does weird things to me...
